"This company has relentlessly marketed to me, despite my requesting to not do so. It became so bad I had to add them to my junk mail filter to avoid seeing their emails. Furthermore, while I am sure this is documented for me to have seen, they tell you that they will renew your service anytime within 90 days of its expiration. I don't care if it is documented, this is just a shady business practice. I already greatly dislike businesses that use auto-renew without requiring you to opt-in. I was just billed for another year of domain service and email this morning; a charge I had no intention of incurring when the time came due. Now I am stuck with a domain and email I have no interest in because they are such shady folks. You do you, but I will NEVER do networksolutions ever again, I recommend you reconsider (at least go in with eyes wide open) if you are thinking of signing up with them."
"Buyer Beware!!! Dirty Crooks At Work!!!
We have used network solutions to power our 2 eCommerce sites for the last several years. Over the last year we noticed a significant decline in customer service and product function.
Constant down times... Most of their key advertised features do not work, and customer service is next to non existent. Every phone call to tech support either ends with a promised call back or a message that says "we are experiencing longer than normal hold times" and never any answer. Clearly longer than normal is the norm with this company.
As if the service was not bad enough, they started tacking on additional fees without our consent. To top it off, Tamra Laramore deleted one of our eCommerce sites "by accident" and could not restore it. We had to rebuild from scratch. This cost us several thousand dollars in lost revenue. To compensate, we were promised one year of free service for one of our eCommerce sites. This never happened. Instead they switched us over to a monthly plan and charged us each month even though we had already prepaid for a year of service.
After years of resisting change, we finally bit the bullet and transferred our services over to Pinnacle Cart. The customer service has been great and features are far superior to the dated Network Solution product.

"This company is horrible!!!! I have been a customer of theirs for 3 years. They consistently have downtime with their servers. Their customer service is terrible. They'll never admit there's an issue, they always make you feel like you're the only one experiencing an issue and then 2 days later have 12 hours of overnight system maintenance which happens about once a week. Their shopping carts expire without warning leaving endless lost orders and customers. I have lost so much money in revenue using their service as we have logged their down time. Once we leave them in two weeks, we will be looking for other companies to start a class action law suit. I will blog about this at a later time."
"I've been using the services of Network Solutions for more than 10 years now and all of my own dealings with them have gone very well, so I do recommend them to others and will continue to use their services for my own needs.
Thanks, Network Solutions!"
"Network solutions offers an ecommerce product that is incredible!! it is called monster commerce. i have used this product along with www.SuperHighwayDesigns.com to develop a couple of sites and i just love the features they offer and how easy they are to use. i would reccomend this to anyone and everyone. "
"Yep, like the previous reviewer, I gave up with this company.
Although the domain registration was not problematic, other services were a big problem, particularly e-mail. In fact, I developed e-mail related problems (as in not even being able to log on) in short order.
I lodged complaint after complaint and was being run ragged by the non-responsiveness. Every time I called with an issue number, it was as if they had never heard of it. I was given a new number each time and told their "techs would investigate". Nonsense! They did nothing and I was without e-mail associated with my domain for almost two months before I just plain threw in the towel.
Unfortunately, I wound up at Register.com and also developed an "e-mail issue". In my experience, these companies are great at charging for services and registering your domain but they fall flat on their faces with anything beyond that.
Ultimately, I went with Yahoo! Business Mail which provides 10 e-mail addresses, 2GB of storage and the ability to send 20 MB attachments for $9.95/month. Maybe not the cheapest out there but it works."
"These guys are about the worst out there I could not get access to my e-mail for a week.If you are in business as use these guys get ready for alot of grief."
"I would agree with the other comments as of 2001 having been a customer for years, but I just completed another domain transfer with NetSol and can tell you this company has really started listening and getting their act together. Their VIP line answers the phone in 10 seconds, and they've made a lot of changes to the site to finally make things easy. Plus now I'm getting American Airlines miles for every domain name. There are cheapo companies out there but frankly I'm not interested in taking chances with my domain name. Glad to see NetSol/Verisign is listening to custoemrs! Keep it up!"
