"They messed up my shipping, I paid for two day shipping to recieve it on Friday, they shipped it three day, and thus I recieved it on Monday. Customer service was 'lacking' "
"I ordered a DDR266 memory module which Neutron advertised as a "CAS2", and indicated "compatibility guarantee" in the description. I had two issues with this purchase: (1) the module they sent me had only CAS2.5 chips on it (Mitsubishi M2S56D40ATP-75 without the A suffix which means only CAS2.5. Check the datasheet on Mitsubishi's website if you do not believe me.). When I called, tech support tried to sell me the idea that the module was still capable of CAS2, in spite of the chip specification. (2) My Intel D845GBV motherboard did not agree, as well. It refused to operate with the module and halted during Power On Self Test. When I called Neutron, I was informed the "compatibility guarantee" meant a promise that the part should work if inserted in a compatible motherboard. It did not mean Neutron would replace the part if it was found to be incompatible. Nice trick! After a 5 minute discussion they refused to exhange the module to a CAS2 module which I paid for and they refused to waive the 15% restocking fee on the return. THIS WAS THE LAST TIME I PURCHASED ANYTHING FROM NEUTRON! Their lack of integrity, and the high chance for return costs, make them a rather expensive supplier."
"Neutron Inc. needs to seriously re-evaluate their customer service. First I order a 64MB Lexar memory stick which the website indicated was in stock. I received a confirmation e-mail thanking me for my purchase on the same day. The next day I receive an e-mail stating that the 64MB Lexar is not in stock but I can purchase a Sony 64MB memory stick for $2.00 more. I go to the website to see if Neutron has an OUT OF STOCK on Lexar 64MB memory stick and it still shows it as IN STOCK. Come on how long have they been out of stock on this item. Anyway I cancel my order and come to find out they have charged my credit card before they have even filled my order. Now 7 days later my credit still has not shown up on my card. BUYER BEWARE.
UPDATE 7/2/2002: I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau and have had to file a disputed charge claim just to receive my credit. STAY AWAY FROM NEUTRON IF YOU WANT ANY TYPE OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

"You want the good news or the bad news?...
Contrary to what their website says, they do not have the Samsung SyncMaster 900NF in stock. (Is that the good news or the bad news?... I am not sure.)
The good news is that I didn't have to wait a week to discover this. They sent me the following e-mail fairly promptly:

Being incorrigibly curious, I selected the $5 bonus. I'll try to remember to let you know what happens from here on out...."
"I'd STAY AWAY from this company. I ordered some memory from them after a Pricewatch.com search.
They charge you credit card immediately, even though the item is on back order. They don't even bother to tell you it's on back order, even though they say they do. I called them one week after the item was supposed to be delivered. Not until then did they say "Oh, it's on back oreder" THEY DID NOT INFORM OF THIS IN ANY WAY. I finally told them to cancel the order and give me my money back. Their website says it will take five days, FAT CHANCE!!! It has now been three weeks and after two more phone call they finally say they will credit my account. Time will tell.

UPDATE*****UPDATE*******
I had to call this vendor *AGAIN* to receive my refund. I was promised the money would be refunded immediately. All I received was an email claiming the money was refunded. IT WAS NOT!!!
Neutron: Refund the money NOW!!!
Reading the post (spam) above this
one was definetly not my experience.
I received only ONE email from this
business(?) saying "we recieved your order. They took my money that day, and never contacted me again. Not to say your item was on back order, not to say it would be late, not to say you can get a refund, NOTHING!!! The only other email was stated that they had refunded the $$$, now, several days later they have NOT!.
NOTE: even when you ask for a refund because they cannot fulfill
an order, they still make you jump through their marketing hoops with a stupid $5 credit or wait 5 more days ( in my case weeks so far) It's my opinion that most of the squeaky clean, sanitized positive reviews for them are probably produced from within thier own company. (smells like SPAM). I wish they would just do as they promise and refund my money.
**********Thats my update for now, more later if I don't get a refund soon. In the mean time, STAY AWAY!!!**********************************************************************
In my experience, This company does not bother to ship, inform, refund as a normal company should. I don't think they should be charging people's credit cards until they have the items in stock or are able to ship.
I would guess this practice is illegal. "
"HORRIBBLE COMPANY!! I order ecomomy grade DDR...BAD MISTAKE. Not only didn't it work (if it were in fact up to specs IT WOULD OF!!!!) "i had found this company on pricewatch.com and i'm glad i did they were great to deal with on the phone and e-mails

"Got a bad CUSL2 board. The guy claimed it worked for him even though it did not work in 3 computers that I tried. He forced to charge me a 25% restocking fees, and didnt refund me till I called my credit card company 3 months later because there had been no action on his part."
"Purchased an Iiyama monitor on 5/8.
It arrived on 5/13. Very fast service,
and a very good price. My only
minor complaint would be that they
didn't send me my tracking information
very quickly - the day I got my tracking
info from them via email was the
day that my order arrived. All in
all, though, a great experience and I
would recommend them highly.
"
"The company sent the xms2400 ddr memroy I ordered, very quickly and I was pleased with the way it had been packaged and sent in a timely manner. Now I have a faulty stick of ddr and I have been waiting months for an RMA authorization. I have called twice and sent in the automated rma request once. I found that Neutron is a decent place to order from, unless you expect them to honor a manufacturer's warranty. Both times I called for an RMA a gentleman, who barely spoke english, would answer and tell me that he would email the authorization tomorrow. Still nothing. "
