"If you want to receive your stuff sooner than a month, don't buy from these fools.
They take the order, charge ur card and then place order from the wholesale company, who then probably orders it from the company. I have been waiting for my order for a while. They don't keep u updated. You have to bug them and the answer always is, you'll get it. No one knows when.

"I knowingly placed a "PRE-ORDER" for a Samsung HL-S5679W DLP HDTV for $3551.10. The unit was not due out until at least another month later, sometime in June. A day later, I had a message on my answering machine from "Tony" who said he needed for me to call him back to confirm my order.
I did not call him back that day. Two days later, I received a message from my credit card company that "suspicious activity" had been detected on my card. When I check into it, I found a $500 charge from a company called "UNCLES STEREO INC. CARTERET NJ" shown on my activity statement. This company actually turned out to be "New York Wholesale Audio Video".
I did not call them that day.
When I called Tony the next day, he told me that it was common practice to charge $500 for a preorder. When I suggested that they should mention this SOMEWHERE on their website, he laughed at me. He asked if I still wanted the TV, I said "NO", he said, "Okay, there will still be a 15% restocking fee on that $500!!". ($75)
I was flabbergasted!!!
To be charged without notice, for an item that wouldn't even be available to THEM for at least another month, that I had not called "Tony" back to confirm, then charge ME to cancel the order!!
I do *NOT* agree with their business practices.
At the very least, they should state their "Pre-Order Practice" of charging your card $500 regardless of when it ships!! and that there will be a 15% ($75) charge to cancel!
And, this is for an order I never confirmed!
Am I wrong for being upset?"
