"I ordered an HTC Desire Z NAM phone from NewayCI and received the phone in London Ontario 3 business days later (UPS Expedited). I found that the phone box (not shipping envelope) had been previously unsealed and opened, but all accessories and hardware were present and in new condition.

I was surprised to see this expensive phone was shipped in a padded envelope. Considering shipping was $28 (insurance was extra), I was expecting a more protective corrugated cardboard box. The phone arrived undamaged, although its box had a squished/bumped corner.

The phone's firmware/software was Bell branded, which leads me to believe the phone was SIM unlocked at NewayCI. This would explain why the phone box arrived unsealed.

I would have appreciated knowing ahead of time that the phone would arrive with Bell branded firmware and unsealed. Reverting to an unbranded or "World Edition" firmware is possible on this phone, but many people aren't comfortable or capable of preforming this task. To improve on this, NewayCI could display a notice on their website when a phone is going to arrive opened and/or with carrier branded firmware.

Navigating NewayCI's website is simple and straight forward as is selecting a phone and placing an order. A handy compatibility table is provided for each phone to tell you what features and carriers each phone will support. Payment through PayPal is easy if you're already set up.

"I bought a sony w995 for $365 including shipping and handling from this website and I'm really dissatisfied due to the following reasons:

1. Signal Problem - My previous sony ericsson phone has 4 bars for edge signal but this one that I bought from newayci.com has only two bars or 1.

2.The battery last only for about two days in regular use.

3.The phone looks like an imitation. The sound and the speaker are very bad.

4. The functions pattern is somewhat different from sony cellphone software.

5. There's a lot of chinese games in it which you can't erase.

6. It came with only 37 mb built-in memory instead of 118 as advertised.

7. The phone is very far from what the website advertised. It advertised the original phone but it sell an imitation (i think from china).

8. The shipping was very poor. Worst packaging. When I received it, it looked liked the envelope was already opened. The box inside with the phone was broken. It was torn in some parts.

9. It came with an old type three pronged charger which look very cheap. Infact if you open the inside part of the phone where you put the battery, the phone in itself looks like a toy. I'm not sure if this phone will last for a year

10. When I tried to return the phone. A man on the line told me that he will charge me for 15 percent restocking fee. I think this website is owned by a single private individual because I talked to thesame person every time I call. I called him one time and it seemed that he was driving a car based on the background sound I heard.

11. When I called, it takes almost an hour before somebody answers the phone. Sometimes nobody answers the phone and you have to call again the following day.

12. No user's manual and installation cd.

I don't think of dealing anymore with this website. The person who answers the phone, I think he's the owner, does not listen when you explain about the problem. He talks more than to listen to customer's problem. If you don't want to experience what happened to me, stay away from this website (newayci.com) as you stay away from a contagious disease. Talking about business, and based on my experience the website is not even worth for a one star rate. If you don't believe me, then try it yourself for you to know how worst is it to make business with this website.
