"So, there was 3 days of frustration concerning my new egg credit account with synchrony bank and new egg. I chatted via the web service with 9 different people and was ready to cancel everything and go pay more elsewhere. I was passed back and forth between newegg and synchrony via multiple chats and email messages sent. This morning i received a message from synchrony stating that they had NO way to help me with this situation and i was just going to have to wait 7-10 days. It's december 14th and this is for a gaming system that i'm building for my youngest son.
I get back on chat with newegg and get Hugh F. He was fantastic ... immediately gave me the number for service and as we chatted, he was very understanding and listened to my ranting. He also agreed to ship the video card i was ordering next day to help make the situation right.
I then called the service line and spoke with Sabrina who after putting me on hold while she called and told synchrony to release the funds (shocker ... it actually CAN be done ... as if we all didn't know that) she stayed on the line with me while i first checked to verify that the balance on my account was correct, and then she stayed on the line while i put a new order in for my video card. Once entered, she went in and refunded me for my next day shipping. She was friendly, laughed at my frustrated jokes and was all around absolutely pleasant and wonderful to speak with. If you ever have to call service, i sincerely hope you get to speak with Sabrina.

"I bought a two pack of RAM on Newegg and had an appointment with a computer specialist to have them installed. One of the RAM sticks was defective but I had already hired the specialist so he went ahead and installed the other one. Newegg has refused to send a new RAM stick or refund any of my money. Very disappointed with this company. "
