Newegg is the best!

"I have used newegg for a very long time as do my business partners. I have always had ample experience with their customer service when needed, they are very easy to talk to should problems arise. Customer service representatives and supervisors are always extremely friendly and outgoing! I always enjoy talking to them. newegg and its employees are extremely professional. I also completely love the fact that newegg accepts bitcoin as a form of payment!

orders are processed extremely fast, ship fast, and arrive fast. very rarely do I pay for faster shipping and my items still arrive sooner than I expect them!

thanks for everything newegg, keep it up!

Common misconception with the free download of Destiny 2

"Purchased a 1080ti for a set price that came with a free game, it looked like I was charged separately from the card for the game. The guy recognized the problem quick and explained it well enough, we both realized it was an understandable misconception. Friendly, intelligent employee. I was not disappointed with my customer service, I do think that the advertisement is somewhat misleading however. Great service."

Poor Customer Service

"I've been a loyal Newegg customer for over 20 years with 10s of thousands of dollars spent there. But no more.
The customer service has gone down for the past 2 years and no longer tolerable.
When someone buys a all components for a full system and it cannot get shipped at the same time or even close to the same time, it becomes difficult to build a system but understandable in some cases.
But when they tell you they have a problem but unwilling to make it right or even try, that's when you just have to say enough is enough.
When Newegg would not even offer (i asked and i would have paid the difference) for expedited shipping, they refused.
I was very careful this time ordering to make sure this was a "sold by and shipped by Newegg" product so I would not have any delays.

I told the CS supervisor "do not ship and give me a refund" (remember, this has not shipped yet and they could not tell me when it would ship)

Here is what they said.
I need to apologize because SO#xxxxxx is from a drop shipping warehouse meaning it is not a warehouse owned by Newegg I requested to void it but got an automated response advising it cannot be voided. I apologize, once the order is sent out you can give us a call back and set up an RMA for a refund. Thank you.

But wait! It is supposed to be a Newegg "sold and shipped by Newegg" item according to Newegg web site.
Busted! This not a shipped by Newegg according to the email sent to me.
If this is a 3rd party warehouse contracted by Newegg, then technically it is not shipped by Newegg.

I have ordered the item elsewhere and paid an extra $8.37 ship fee to get it on time.

Now, I truly understand how shipping and warehousing works, I am in the retail and ecommerce business. Sometimes things just happen. But companies should try to help, go beyond the standard system response and get up off their seat and actually do something.

$8.37 just cost Newegg $1000's in sales.

Update:
Newegg sent me an email saying the product was sold out and will refund my money in 3-5 business days.
Newegg also removed my review (same as above) from their website.
Their website is still showing item is in stock and "ship from Newegg"
Very bad business practice,

Disappointed

"I had purchased two items from Newegg only to have them canceled because they said they were out of stock. Each time when I went online I found the item in stock and up for sale. The first time the item was the same price so I just reordered it. The second time the price had gone up. When I called customer support the person on the line was nice and happy to help me. I had to push to get the price honored and was told that because the mistake was not my fault they would give me the sale price.. Then I had to push to get the priced changed so that I did not wait for a rebate after I ordered the item. I even had to push for free shipping. Each time the service agent had to get permission from a different supervisor to make a change. The whole process took 2 1/2 hours. I was not given anything I did not ask to have. No offer to make things right. If Newegg wants to get ahold of me and actually take responsibility for their mistakes I am more than happy to talk to them."

Astoundingly good

"Months ago I made a mistake of purchasing a motherboard with a chipset I need but was incompatible because it didn't have the power requirements necessary, making it essentially worthless to me. After arguing with a rep from Gigabyte who could do nothing for me I turned to Newegg at my wits end and befuddled by my previous experience. After telling them I had opened it that day they agreed to refund the entire price of the item for me! I didn't expect that at all and my jaw dropped, I just have to do a standard return and boom! done! Newegg's customer service has been constantly helpful to me and it's an awesome feeling. Keep up the good work, and I will continue to shop with them!"

Good Customer Service, but I've had a mediocre experience with product this time

"I ordered a full pc worth of components this Black Friday season from Newegg and I chose to do so because they had the best prices for the components I was looking for and promised good customer service, especially for their premium members.

I ended up ordering two graphics cards from them and needed to return one. Unfortunately, during the return process I found out what was labelled as a "Free Gift" was actually a discount from the product's price and was charged directly to me. After I returned the graphics card I discovered I am now $40 short since I have no use for their "Free Gift": a game code for a game I don't use. I think this gift was shipped from AMD and maybe its more AMD's fault than Newegg's but I am out $40 on a return that I could have probably sold at a profit on my own if I had known I would be refused the money.

On the brighter side, after calling earlier in the day and not receiving a call back at my scheduled time but at a time where I was busy an hour later, I called back and quickly got on the line with RJ Rosalez. I asked him clarifying questions about my orders and the RMA's I requested for this graphics card and also a motherboard I received damaged. Since the delivery box is untouched it looks like I was sent a broken board from Newegg (the box was visibly crunched from a drop on the outside).

RJ did everything he could to serve me well since I spent over a $1000 on these components but unfortunately I am out this $40 now which I didn't expect and since they are out of stock for my motherboard I can not receive a replacement for the foreseeable future. In short I have received good service but the products I have received are only so so.

Great people, easy service

"I've used the NewEgg chat several times this week after making a number of purchases, and it's always been great. You can work on the side and just wait your turn in the chat queue, which I love. It may or may not take a while to get a rep, but that's the beauty of the live chat - you can do literally whatever you want while you wait.

All the reps were friendly, helpful, and efficient, and they were all able to either resolve my issue or take concrete steps toward that solution such that I was confident that it would be solved in a timely manner (not always possible on the first contact).

It's been a great experience - I'd recommend NewEgg.

Good service when things go wobbly

"The usual fast order turnaround, but when you get an issue like a shipper leaving the product at the wrong address, you then see how good the customer service is. I used the chat feature and spoke to a very nice person called Martina who resolved the issue to my 100% satisfaction. That's pretty much all you can ask."
