"I bought 2 videos card MSI GTX 780Ti Gaming at a good price 739$ CAN each (with 3 games), and came from bundle of 3 games, but i take the games Batman too late with small write date from NVidia, and can't get this game. After discussion twice with Nvidia and they have a new bundle with for same card i bought, NVidia say i can get the new game Daylight to replace my 2 Batman i can't get. From the store where i bought my card (Newegg.ca), after twice discussion (chat, phone)with customer service, Newegg.com (on phone) say they can give me the new game. "I had ordered a refurbished item that had to come up from the NJ warehouse, normally this isn't a problem. However, this time and for reasons that still have not been explained to me, Purolator delivered the package to the Mississauga, Ont warehouse. When I followed up with Puro, they told me I have to contact Newegg. When I contacted Newegg they told me that everything that is returned by courier, immediately gets RMA'd. I asked them why the package was delivered to the Mississauga WH instaed of to me they couldn't answer.
I spent a good 30 minutes on the phone with a CSR named Allie who was deparately trying to get the RMA process interrupted. After a few discussions with her supervisor, she managed to intercept the package. She advised me that I would see an RMA go through but there was a comment on the RMA that said I wanted to have the product delivered to me. A simple fix, or so I thought!!
Unfortunately, the RMA went through and so did the refund, minus the shipping costs. I phoned Newegg Customer Service again and asked them what happened. This time I spoke to a rep by the name of Deb. She explained that all products delivered to warehouse by courier automatically go through the RMA process. I told Deb that Allie had arranged for me to get the package delivered to me, so she spoke to Allie and confirmed that fact. Regardless of Allie's attempts at intervention, the RMA just went through and I still had no reasonable explanation why the product was never delivered to my house. The kicker here is that the WH is a five minute drive from my house, three if I catch the light at the main intersection.
I was quite frustrated by the whole process as I have ordered thousands of dollars worth of products from Newegg and never once had a problem. Deb went into CSR overdrive and agreed with me that the shipping costs should also be credited as I didn't even have the product delivered to my house. She created a credit for the shipping costs and I saw the refund note come through within two days.
The product that I had ordered was no longer in stock, so I couldn't even reorder it if I wanted to. I explained this to Deb and told her that there was a similar item but more expensive and could I have it for the same price as the out of stock item. She checked with her supervisor and then told me that they would honour the same price! I quickly ordered the item and gave her the sales order number. She said she would follow it through to make sure that the same price was applied to the replacement item.
Bingo! I received the delivery today, within my time limit, ready for the weekend. I also received a couple of emails that reflected the credit note for the difference in price between the original and replacement item. Huge thanks to Deb for following through and thanks to Allie for her valiant effort!!!!!
I don't fault either CSRs explanation of the RMA process, however, I do fault Newegg's policy of automatically RMAing anything delivered by courier to their warehouses. Don't you have to issue an RMA number in order for an item to be returned? And don't RMA numbers usually get issued BEFORE a product is returned. This is the RMA process that I'm familiar with and followed by most retailers that I have dealt with in the past.
Newegg, customers just want to know what's going on when a shipment goes wonky. I think your automatic RMA process needs to be reviewed and changed so that the customer can be informed as to why their shipment went to the warehouse. In this case, Purolator was not very helpful, I didn't choose Puro for shipping, but I did choose Newegg for purchasing the product and I expect better information from the retailer, especially when they have the product in hand."

I purchased a Synology NAS from Newegg.ca and it was a terrible experience. When I didn't receive the item, I contacted the company, they told me that Purolator lost it; the fact is, they never shipped it. Then they told me to wait 5 to 7 business days for a refund.
To compensate me for the mistake, they offered me a $25 gift card. Seriously, the order was almost $1,000 and they offer me a $25 gift card for the mistake. Next, they suggested that I buy another one -- that's right, they screw up and then ask me to spend more money with them. AVOID THIS COMPANY.... THEY ARE CRIMINALS! "

I bought the QNAP 670 PRO last week and spend all day Sunday trying to configure it to no avail. After spending about 2 hours on the phone with QNAP Tech support it was determined the unit was defective. I called Newegg they came to my rescue immediately. They issued an RMA, emailed mailing labels and they are shipping me a brand new unit.
By the way their customer service rep was exceptionally great.

"Purchase the Cooler Master Cosmos II and there was a small chip of plastic missing out of the top part of the case. Phone them and told them about the problem because its not like it was a five dollar item more like $431 item and they agreed to ship me a new one.
Also on opening the box that never got touched the piece of plastic was no here to be seen, I say it happen at cooler masters manufacturing line and noting to do with Newegg or their shipping. Really happy now that Ill be receiving a new case and looking forward to Neweggs Premier of course when it comes to Canada."

Just bought a cordless Panasonic Phone System from Newegg. Due to my hearing loss, couldn't hear the phone properly. Called Customer Service and spoke to Abbi. She was extremely helpful, and really went out of her way to help and suggest phones with amplified sounds etc. Even though the phone was absolutely fine, and I was returning it due to my hearing issues, Abbi very graciously offered me free shipping back.
This was the first time I ever bought anything from newegg, but their customer service really won me over, and I will definitely be shopping at the site more often.

"Paid for a brand new item, received a refurbished. Customer service offer me RMA. Since I didnt want to pay shipping back for their mistake and the product was still functionnal, I refuse RMA. They offer me a rebate, which is more acceptable.
I also place a big order lately and they cancel it without warning even if it was approuved by my credit card company. They told me to place another order, but I couldnt since it would exceed my credit card limit, they still had autorization, but apparently could not reuse it. They gave me cancellation number for VISA, but VISA could not use it. I had to wait 1 day to place my order back and they didnt had enough item in stock anymore.
I bought 8 motherboards and had to RMA 2 of them, they refuse it because the serial number on the box didnt match.. Seriously! just for a number on a box they refuse it. The good serial number is on the motherboard, I dont understand their pickyness! Now I have to pay to ship an empty box!
Their customer service is fast and great, but they often cant help, didnt read completely, seldom dont answer all questions and are really keen on using preformatted text that dont answer anything to your matter!"
"I tried 3 times to make a purchase with Newegg--my only time of buying from them--and had problems with the order being reversed. I understood that the stringent process was in order provide the highest security. When I tried a 4th time I saw the price had gone up quite a bit on the two items I was buying--over $250 from morning to evening! I understood the price increase had to be a result of the Canadian dollar being less against the US$ but it was frustrating that I could have gotten the lower price had my order gone through earlier. I phoned the contact number and Tyler was reassuring and helpful. She stayed on the line with me and made sure all my info entered would be accepted by the system. Then she stayed on to make sure the purchase went through. She then sent me an email promising to refund the difference between the two totals so that I would have it at the price it was when I first tried to make my purchase. We just did this all several minutes ago and already the purchase has gone through and shows on my credit card account. Tyler emailed me suggesting I might want to give a Newegg review and I am happy to do so. I ended that call with her feeling happy and that I had been looked after in a respectful, helpful and reassuring way.
