"Purchase a motherboard that did not work. Returned the product, and was told that the serial number was missing. No idea where the serial number was/is on the board, but definitely a serial number on the box. They told me there was nothing they could/would do and sent back the defective board. I would NEVER shop at Newegg again.

Following my initial rating above, I was contacted by Newegg, and they did their best to correct the problem - they shipped a new motherboard immediately, and pre-paid for UPS shipment of the old board back to their site. Have not yet tried/installed the new board, but assuming it works, I'm willing to give them another chance.

"Newegg.ca cancelled my order even though visa approved it. (I called Visa) I contacted a newegg customer service supervisor. She said that she'll send an email so I can contact her back. (Not Done), get the order reinstated. (Not Done) Pathtic when a company will not take your money. I actually have a large history dealing with newegg.com. And they are getting much worse than before. (Damaged goods (box cutter damage), mail in rebate issues, website picture and descriptions are worse than before) "

"I ordered the wrong product and needed to return it - had an issue with my RMA online and the person from Newegg customer service who helped me took care of it right away. I have ordered from them three times and have been happy with their service each time.
One tip though - if you need to contact them, dont bother phoning; I tried that and was on hold forever. Just use their online chat and you will be helped quickly.

"Love NewEgg! They're the best in customer service and their website is easy to narrow down to the best value products. I've been shopping for parts to build my first gaming PC and the site makes it easy to get exactly what I want at prices that beat everyone else. Unlike NCIX.ca which looks like it's stuck in 1998, has basically no way to drill down product categories and has crazy shipping charges."

"I ordered some parts from NewEgg, planning on building myself a computer. It turned out that some of the parts ended up shipping VIA UPS instead of Purolator as I requested in shipping ( so it would all arrive via 1 truck).

I got a email saying here is your UPS tracking code. I said to myself... I never ordered VIA UPS, so i contacted Customer Support and within 10 minutes my shipping fee was refunded due to a mistake on their part.

This is the 3rd time dealing with New Egg, ordered 2 monitors, a full computer with speakers, the parts I ordered just now which makes another full computer, and another set of speakers. Ordered Friday night( closed for the weekend of course, so delayed to Monday Morning to actually put the parts together in boxes for shipping) and have them the following Wednesday. I`ve always been very pleased with NewEgg, and I cant imagine myself ordering computer parts anywhere else. It`s plain and simple thee place to be.

"I ordered everything on Thursday night and Tuesday morning I had everything in my possession. Normally I would expect the weekend to make my order as if I placed it Monday morning. I had a little issues with my order with the price changing and I contacting customer support and they had no problem helping me and righting the wrongs. I recommend Newegg to anyone who is willing to listen"

"Spoke with customer service about an order I placed about an hour ago. I wanted to cancel the order and re-order the same parts with 1 exception, I wanted Windows 8 Pro 64 bit OEM rather than Windows 7 Pro 64 bit OEM. I was told that the order is packaging and the only way to change it is to cancel the order.

I tried cancelling the order but the thing already shipped! I wasn't even angry because they shipped the darn thing so fast!

The representative told me I could still RMA the Windows 7 Pro 64 bit OEM CDs as long as they were still sealed and that they would provide me with a shipping label.

Awesome service!

"By far the best customer service I've ever experienced, even better than Apple customer support which is legendary, i ordered 2 wrong items and still they offered me a full refund and the return shipping label, these guys are willing to go as far as paying from their own pocket just to provide the best for their customers. Very highly recommended!"

"I used to buy from Newegg all the time when I lived in NY. I decided to try them again now that I live in Toronto. And what have I found? I think they are even better now, they have some new systems in place that make the buying process and customer service even easier. This is one of the only companies I know of that always shines. I am still impressed and even more so now. (p.s. the phone back instead of waiting on the phone for CS is utterly fantastic!!!)"

"I always order through Newegg whenever possible. I try to avoid smaller online retailers as their policies are a little screwy. The idea is to make it a smooth transaction and newegg nails that every time. Spent well over $2000 in the past year and will continue shopping there.

One time I ordered an extremely low end case for an extremely low-end starter build for my son and the case arrived with the front panel broken in the top right corner. Not their fault as the Purolator guy admitted to dropping the parcel and gave me $20 out of his pocket to cover it.
