"Patrick was 100% helpful. He helped out when I needed a fan and didn't hold anything back to help me. Newegg is the best for pc parts and I highly recommend them to anyone!"
"I bought several items from newegg.ca and the shipping is pretty fast. The items always arrive quickly and nicely packaging. They have good deals and prices and their customers service is good, I higly recommend this site!
Thanks newegg"
"I have purchased from Newegg several times and had some issues (including the infamous LG 3D TV incident). Each time Newegg has resolved these issues and offered apology perks. I would gladly purchase from Newegg again thanks to their excellent customer service. "
"Great customer service, profesional, fast. great price and promotions."
"I was supposed to receive a code for a copy of Assassins Creed 3 with my Graphics card, however I did not receive it. Although I contacted the customer service and they offered to send me a free code for the game, I could not be happier with Newegg Canada and their service!"
"Purchased LG 42" LED 1080P 120hz Cinema3D HDTV on December 21st, 2012. Thirty days later... THE COMPANY "FORGOT" TO ISSUE A REFUND. Bank account charged on December 24th, and again on January 9th for the amount in question. On January 28th customer service department admits that a refund has yet to be issued for the December 24th charge. Had I not called, I would have never seen my money again. No compensation, no appology. The company claims to have never received the second payment either and refused to refund although my bank statement argues otherwise. Dishonest seller. Check your bank/credit card statements when dealing with Newegg Canada, your refunds may be conveniently forgotten."
"Was once great, lately terrible. Was one of the masses with the 42 inch LM5800 LG issue which eventally resolved with some semblence of fairness. However, I also ordered the LG LM8600 model and felt it was a good deal. To make a long story short things went downhill from there with this TV... I paid in full and received my invoice, etc.... 6 days later the status went from packaging to Shipped.... having ordered many times before I waited for the Shipping Invoice and Track8ng number so I could be home to accept the TV, HOWEVER, no tracking number was ever sent to me.... Later on Dec 28th, Speedy Delivery seeming phoned to ensure I was home.... I wasn't obviously not having a tracking number I had no idea they were coming to deliver in the first case. My friend took the call informing I wasn't home ... the company said they would contact me after new years, which NEVER occurred. On Jan. 3rd I contacted newegg requesting the tracking numberof my NOT DELIVERED TV. I NEVER RECEIVED REPLY to my request. I LATER PHONED AND SENT AN EMAIL TO NEWEGG asking about the whereabouts of the TV, they told me their records didn'tshow any location but would look into the matter, again I never received a response to where it was. Then on Sunday 6th I received a notice that I didn't answer a phone request from Newegg they supposedly sent on Jan 4th.... I didn't answer and apparently Newegg couldn't bother to try others means of contacting me, such as phoning again, leaving a message or sending an email. Then late Wednesday, Jan 9th Neweggemailed saying I would lose the TV due to failure to deliver the TV. I received a full refund today, which is funny since I'm still waiting since Dec 28th for my 42 inchTV refund promised nearly 2 weeks ago. If I want the TV now I would have to pay the new price which is $700.00 more than the previous amount. Nice scam.... How they can place the blame on me for NOT BEING HOME considering NO TRACKING NUMBER WAS INCLUDING on the invoice and no number was forwarded when I later asked for one.... Any comments.... "
"Ok, they messed up the LG 3D TV incident pretty bad. But they did everything they could to repair the situation. The reps are very friendly and helpful. So kudos to NE for listening an making the effort. Just don't mess up like this again!"
"I ordered the 42” 3D LED TV on the Dec 21st and from then on it has been a nightmare dealing with newegg.ca. 1st the order was put on hold since my credit card company flagged the sale (late in the evening with an online retailer they have flagged) so I clear all that up and called in their customer service line, at that point I was assured by an actual person that my order was still there and they would go ahead and process the order. Received confirmation and my credit card was charged for the amount of the TV. Having been reassured by an actual person via a phone conversation that I am getting the item I ordered I held off any other purchases I would have looked for on boxing day and let my wife know she is getting her tv that she has been wanting. I then received a notice it was back ordered (if you don’t have the item you don’t tell someone you have it and charge their credit card). Then 2 days after that my credit card will be refunded in 3-5 business days. Add to that the order was wiped off my account from newegg.ca, what are they trying to hide? Funny how I can pull up an order from 2008 but this one has vanished. This is extremely shady business from newegg.ca.
I also understand that newegg.ca is trying to resolve this for people based on when they ordered but I heard nothing from newegg.ca. Now I have read that customers who ordered the TV after 21st have either received options to make up for this fiasco and some of them have already received replacement TV’s. I called newegg.ca customer service a few times to try and have this resolved and keep getting pushed off with a “you will need to wait for the e-mail first” or “you should be getting something in the next 3 business days” but have received nothing yet, 4 business days after the original 3 I was asked to wait. I have also been told by customer service that someone will get back to me in a few hours and never received a call back. Obviously there is a something that has been missed but no one is offering to try and help and just keep telling me to wait or pushing me off. With the information I have given them they should be able to do something but constantly refuse. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Based on this experience I will probably never purchase anything from newegg.ca again and recommend to everyone one I know to stay away from this company.
**update**
I was contacted by one of newegg's 'public image professionals' after posting this review and was assured I would receive an e-mail by end of business day today with some of resolution/restitution like others who ordered the TV received. Needless to say I never received any such e-mail from newegg.ca. I didn't think it was possible for this experience this to get any worse, it appears I was horribly mistaken.

"I ordered a 42 inch cinema 3d TV from newegg.ca. My order was confirmed and my credit card was charged. A few days later, Newegg emailed me saying that my order was backordered and then completely cancelled the entire order.
There is now no record of this transaction from ever occurring.
Shortly after all this, Newegg sends me an e-mail apologizing for the mishap and further advises that someone would be contacting me to resolve this issue.
About 2 weeks have passed now and I have not heard from anyone at Newegg.ca."
"Great prices and service. I've recently bought two computers (one refurbished), as well as a couple of SSD drives, and so far everything's been great. I even got a price adjustment on one item, though it was a credit for a future purchase rather than an actual price reduction (given that it was a 'non-returnable' item, that seemed reasonable). Where one shipment didn't have a shipping update, I got a speedy response from customer service. Cheryl's a great CSR!"
"EDIT:Newegg addressed my complaint, and many others involved in the LG television initial purchase, and provided me with three reasonable options for the initial cancellation. I received my television in working order and I am now satisfied with the end result. My only reserve for full satisfaction is that this incident occurred in the first place and I wonder what would have happened if the cancellation affected a few instead of many. Regardless, I am personally satisfied
"I purchased an LG 42" LCD TV when it was on sale for $498 on the 21st. Like many others, it was assumed that I would receive the TV shortly after Christmas, so I neglected to seek out other deals on boxing day since I was elated about getting such a nice TV at a great price! I received an order confirmation, my credit card was charged, and I patiently waited for a shipping notice.
Unfortunately, after a week passed, the order just suddenly disappeared from my account details, and I received an email that it was "backordered". Note that this was an automated email and that my credit card had already been charged for a WEEK, tying up any possibility of purchasing any other gifts for myself during the Christmas holiday. Then, a day later, I received another automated email saying that my "cancellation request" was complete, EVEN THOUGH I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED THAT MY ORDER WAS BEING CANCELLED IN THE FIRST PLACE.
I've ordered many things in the past from Newegg.ca and my experiences have always been great. However, the way they have handled this fiasco is laughable at best, and really shows that they don't care about their customers at all. I will not be shopping from Newegg from now on, and will advise all friends and relatives to do the same.""
"I too bought a 42 LED 3D TV from newegg.ca. Charged my credit card. Confirmed everything, then a week later says its backordered, refund the money and wiped out all history. Very shady business practice and still very angry about this. Going to spread the bad words everywhere I go and every reviews I can find."
"I purchased the LG 42LM5800 LED TV from Newegg back on December 21.
Unlike many others who had their orders cancelled a few days after ordering...mine still stayed in "packaging" status for almost a week....despite my credit card being charged literally hours after I placed the order on Dec. 21.
To my surprise the "Dual Play" glasses arrived at my door on Dec. 27...but no TV (or 3D glasses). Despite many calls and emails explaining my situation there has still been no resolution and I have no answers 10 days after placing the order. Yet Newegg still has my money.
I have been VERY disappointed with how the issue has been dealt with and I feel like the customer service team at Newegg is in no hurry to fix the problem...because again...they have my money already.
If there weren't widespread issues with this particular model at Newegg then I could have perhaps chalked it up as a shipping error. But, the fact that hundreds of orders for this same TV were cancelled and I have yet to hear about any orders being successfully shipped (the first time around) then it makes me believe that Newegg simply does not care about their customers.
I am holding out hope that my situation will be resolved but so far I would NOT recommend Newegg. Shady business practice (not having enough TV's in stock to fulfill all of the orders they processed and accepted payment for and then waiting 4-5 days before letting people know that they don't have enough stock...they didn't know this in the first place?), questionable customer service (where you need to explain your situation the same time over and over...and there is no continuity with how issues are dealt with and just plain confusion with the actions of their third party warehouses).
Please avoid Newegg...my first experience with them will no doubt be my last.

"I ordered a LG 42 inch TV on Dec 22, 2012 from Newegg.ca. Everything went smoothly, my order processed, PayPal account charged and eventually the order was sent to packaging as per Newegg's site. The whole family was excited that they were getting a new TV in the upcoming days and we made purchases close to 300 dollars i.e. TV wall mount, 3D blue ray player etc to go with the new TV.
5 days down the road, I receive an email from NewEgg that the TV was back ordered and money was being refunded. My order was wiped clear from their website. We were shell shocked. What kind of reputable retailer does that. If the item is back ordered end you go to all lengths to fulfill it.Did I ask for my money back?? and it took 5 days for them to figure something was wrong. To me it appeared this whole thing must be a scam to enjoy interest for week 10 days time. God knows how many people were taken advantage of like this. Every one missed the prime shopping days from Dec 21-Dec27 because they thought they had made their holiday season purchase. What company follows these conniving and unfair business practices.
I just wanted other customers to be wary of Newegg!!. I work for a media and I will be taking this to TV Radio and other forms of media publications to spread my disgust for this company and the way they treat their customers.
I was provided a solution later on by Newegg a different similar product. So I would say Newegg listens to their customers and would like to upgrade my one star review to a four star review."
"On December 22 2012, I placed an online order at Newegg.ca for an LG 42LM5800 Series 3D TV.
The price was great, and i couldn't pass up the offer, given that boxing day sales were upon us, i wasted no time in jumping on this deal.
I immediately placed my order and paid via paypal (credit card), i got a confirmation email statiing my order was being processed,... and this is where the fun began.
Newegg surprisingly cancelled my order and sent me an email stating the product was backordered.
Fine, backorder that means you would get it once it is in stock correct? WRONG! they cancelled the order, and said my refund would take another 5 or so business days to process.
So on top of missing out on every other boxing day TV sale, i ended up being out 500 bucks for 7 days now and counting until my refund is processed.
If newegg was going to cancel orders they should have done it promptly and not held our money for 5 days! Giving us false hope.
Many people who ordered also sold their previous TV's and passed on other offers.
In consolation newegg offered a few folks a 25 dollar credit on a purchase, this is unacceptable and unprofessional!
This was my first purchase experience at newegg, and it will be my last unless they can resolve this somehow
