"Newegg is THE BEST reseller of computer hardware. They offer quality items. You will not find an item that is refurbished, opened, or damaged or defective. If you are unsatisfied in any ways, they will usually refund you.

Bottom line is, if you want quality hardware with a hassle free and pleasant transaction, go Newegg.

The only downside I can think of is that they don't actually have a store location. Everything is online and you must pay for shipping.

But pros vastly outweighs cons with Newegg."

"Being a question ask'er, a bit of a techie and a researcher,
I had SEVERAL questions for NewEgg.ca upon buying 2 external 1 TB drives by Samsung, and their superb Customer Service guy, Thank you Mr. Thomas A. Ramirez, was brilliantly helpful and informative, himself doing the research ON THE SPOT in house to try to answer ALL my questions - which not even the Samsung tech Guy could, but, because of Thomas's reassuring manner and his personal promise that NewEgg.ca would stand buy the 3 year Samsung full Warranty on both parts and Labour, I bought not just one, but TWO! (2) External 1TB Samsung Hard drives: a USB 2.0 and a 3.0 as well. and Thomas did right.by.me as well.
I have being buying from NewEgg.ca since they came to Canada and have spent a lot of money with them too. and 99.8% of the time, they are good, excellent and sometimes, like Thomas - amazing!

"At first, I was afraid of the situation I was caught in because of all the things we hear in some forums and such about RMA processes.

The motherboard I received was DOA: there were a couple of bent pins on the CPU socket. I am gentle on my hardware, I know I did not bent those pins. I have been assembling all the computers I had and never did have to RMA one item.

I was afraid that the RMA process would be long and awkward followed by a "reject" of the claim because I assume, many people are messing around with their motherboard/cpu and sending it back: that was not my case, it was that way from the start.

I had a good LiveChat experience with their support personnel. That cleared all of my concerns: being the first ever RMA I have to do I was worried about the process, but I was re-insurred that if I did not bent the pins myself, there is no reason why the RMA would be rejected.

Cool, that's a lot of pressure off my shoulders as I thought I had bad luck"

They use purolator which Is much faster than UPS in Toronto, plus Purolator won't force you to drive to their out of town wharehouse. new eggs RMA is painless and contrary to what some others have posted they will pay the shipping for returns on defective products.

"I've only had positive experiences with Newegg.ca so far. I've found items at great prices and the shipping is always fast. The only negative I could say is if you have to RMA an item, you will need to pay the return shipping. Of course I was aware of this before purchase but what I didn't expect was that it would cost $25 for a prepaid UPS shipping label for a tiny SSD drive that weighs next to nothing. That is the biggest downfall of buying online I suppose. You just need to determine if the money you're saving from not buying locally will be worth it if your item does end up being defective."
