"I bought a Lenovo ThinkPad W510, W520, W530, T510, T520, 2nd HDD SSD Caddy. When I received the caddy, I installed a hard drive and inserted it into the UltraBay slot. The drive is accessible and seems to work fine. Unfortunately, I have not been able to eject the caddy ... it seems to be stuck.

I have tried contacting the company many times to report the problem and ask for guidance on what to do. I sent email, called their phone number leaving voice messages, and used their "Contact Us" website. They never answer their phone and no one has responded."

I complained, sent photos and they sent me a return label. I shipped it back and the company forgot to refund my money. I had to contact them, they wanted the tracking number, I reminded them they sent me the label, meaning they already had the tracking number.

"Was sent a caddy and wire for an SSD and when I installed it the entire motherboard short circuited. After unplugging everything we found out the wire sent was exposed. There was copper hanging out. It melted through my laptop backing and ruined a SATA port, my optical drive, and am still unsure of other damage.

Called NewMode and they said they could replace the wire. I asked about the damage to my computer and they said it was not their fault. They refused to help and even later on refused to send me a new wire.

Am now in the process of small claims court. Might be a great company and deliver stellar products 9/10 times, but when you're at fault you fix the mistakes you made. Hopefully I come out even here.
