I've just now read the reviews about 8 bit vs. 10 bit "bait and switch". I may have actually fallen for that. But if I did, then I own the part of this where I made the decision to buy without doing more research. The price I paid was still lower than anywhere else for the LG unit I purchased. I figure if they're scamming people then it's their karmic hell hole they're digging. I have an excellent TV for a good price, and if I buy another set in the future, I'll do my research.

One more note on this - VIctor S. actually DOWN-sold me from a larger TV. He asked how far the screen would be from where I would be sitting. I told him, and he said that the size I was going to buy would be too big. So, that saved me about $800 I think, if not more.

Just as a point of ex post facto due diligence, I only clicked on 4 stars for how likely I am to shop with them again. If I do, I will be an aware buyer.
