"Let's just say I had a very bad experience with this company, and I will not be attempting to do business with them ever again. I only wish I had read these reviews sooner. I was told one thing, but then another thing happened contrary to what I had been told on the phone, and my order was cancelled without my consultation. Interaction with "customer service" was rude, condescending and blame-shifting, complete with outright denial of facts. Much of what this man does may be technically legal, but it's certainly not pleasant, friendly or how anyone would appreciate being treated in a business relationship."

Read these reviews. This is EXACTLY what will happen to you. There is no wonder you can search and search the internet and find absolutely NO POSITIVE reviews for this company or Tim Briggs' other company MorganDepot.com. He will tell you his legal department will go after you, he will call the police on you, he even told me he will RUIN me. Wow. All I wanted to do was cancel my order. I ordered from NiceToys.com and the first time I talked to Mr. Briggs he attacked me for asking about a delivery date. I waited the extra week he said it would take and he attacked again for following up. He called it harassment. Wait...what?? You have several hundred dollars of mine and I cannot inquire about when I will receive the product I paid for?
If you look into the company further, you will find that he is in fact a one man show. He works out of his home in Houston and uses a MailBox Etc. address for his business address. Unfortunately for him, I do have a lawyer ready to go if he attempts to RUIN me as he stated. After reviewing the posts on this site, we will probably seek a class action lawsuit if necessary. He threatens his customers and I will find out if he has attempted to "ruin" anyone else. Don't order from NiceToys.com or (as I found out later he has another company) MorganDepot.com. It seems like he opened Morgan Depot in order to avoid his dissatisfied customers on NiceToys.com

"Nice Toys??!!!! You've got to be kidding me! I've never been treated so rudely by a retailer in my life! As soon as I place my order my back account was drafted. After a week, I sent an email inquiring as to the status of my order since I never received a confrimation email. The man I spoke with was incredibly rude and nasty and told me it takes at least 4 to 6 weeks to process orders and I shouldn't be so impatient. A few days later they emailed me back and stated they couldn't process my order that quickly and would be refunding my money. I emailed them back and asked how soon I could expect my refund. I then received an extremely nasty and rude email telling me they had told me in great detail that I hadn't maintained my paypal account and to continually blame the merchant was pointless. I emailed them back and told them I was happy to take my business elsewhere and they responded by saying (among other nasty comments) that I would no longer be allowed to order from their site."
"This company is THE WORST!!! I have never been treated so poorly in my life by a retailer. I ordered some plastic display stands, and after a week and a half called to enquire about my order as it hadn't arrived yet. The owner was very rude and stated that "If I could read, it clearly states on their web site that shipping times take from 3-6 weeks. I thought...ok...so I waited another week and finally sent an e mail through paypal telling them I was upset about my order and would appreciate a refund. Here is what I got back from them.

For decades hundreds of thousands of customers have had NO PROBLEMS with READING the webpage and waiting for production times. To do a chargeback is absurd. He didn't even call! He either did not or can not READ what was clearly posted and what he agreed to. He even agreed to timing in eSignature! We have turned this over to legal. "...assume get a refund..."???? He can't even type a proper sentence. What a jerk! We have zero tolerance for people like this.

Below is an email which was sent to me from NiceToys(****@****)when I asked for a refund for an order which had not shipped yet and they could not verify when it would be shipped.
Dear Mr. ______ ,
The item is not out of stock, that is your erroneous assumption and you are just being too impatient. Also, your position is not at all reasonable. Our site clearly tells you BEFORE you order that items may take time. It clearly tells you that you cannot cancel an order once placed. Our website is clear. And you agreed to it before you checked out. It is that simple. The "communication" is CLEAR and POSTED and you AGREED to it.
To contact us now and make such demands is not at all fair or professional. You obviously do not intend to honor the contracts you agreed to. And we have found out that this is not the first time you have done this. You are a troublemaker. Plain and simple.
Your threat has been noted and forwarded to legal and to PayPal since you obviously do not intend to abide by their rules either. Your idea that you now make such a demand or you'll do a chargeback is absurd.
Good luck to you in your future shopping experiences but please make it elsewhere, we will nto accept any future orders from you. And good luck with a displays company that claims they can ship same day at this time of year.

"I ordered some brushes. NiceToys never stated that it would take 5 or 6 weeks for delivery! When I inquired after 2 1/2 weeks about the status of my order, they emailed me back that the brushes were coming from overseas and it would take another 2 weeks or so before they could send them to me. That was reasonable, although they certainily should have mentioned the lead time up front. I just got a second email saying they are cancelling my order because of the time limit on Paypal orders. Canceling without asking the customer??? Accepting Paypal orders knowing that their lead times could be excessive? What a way to do business! Bottom line is that I just wasted over two weeks dealing with this incompetent dealer. "
"Boy what a disappointment!! I ordered a small order of items and waited until 9 days later to have provided the tracking number only to find out that the order had not even been processed yet. My money was deposited the same day as I placed the order. I inquired about it 11 days after paying/placing the order and expressed my dismay about the length of time it took to pull such a small order. I was then refused service and my order was cancelled. I was amazed at how in this day and age, a company would not try their very best to attain superior customer service. What a let down!! If you need you item within 20 days, you have to tell them and THEN they will move on your order. I was able to purchase the same item for the same price elsewhere and that company has followed up with every step of the ordering/sending process."
"HORRIBLE customer service, and I talked to the OWNER of this business. Here's what he wrote me with regard to a pending authorization on my account (the item was out of stock, yet $16.50 was mising from my account:
If you have to & do not believe us, please call your bank & you will find that
we are telling you the truth. You were not charged, your card was only
authorized. No charge has been put through on your card.
How long it takes for the authorization to drop off differs from bank to bank &
we have absolutely no control over that.
What the amounts you are referrig to are & where they come from, we have no

Turns out, I did call my credit card company, and they told me it is up to the company to release the HOLD on my funds to cancel the transaction."
"I purchased a set of china display stands that were not satisfactory for the purpose as advertised on the nicetoys.com website. After promptly returning the merchandise in the original packaging I received a very rude phone call informing me that returns were not accepted. This policy may be legal due to the "click at your own risk fine print" pervasive on so many sites. I have learned from this mistake that "only pre-approved returns accepted" actually means NO RETURNS ACCEPTED--SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE! I mistakenly believed that if I did honest business with this company, it would respond in kind. Instead, Nice Toys chose to enforce its strictest policies that are intended to prevent unscrupulous shoppers from returning used merchandise. This may be legal, but it is extremely poor customer service to treat every customer as the worst case example. The acrylic plate holders I returned were never used and were returned in perfect condition. I would have accepted an exchange for a more appropriate item or store credit, but Nice Toys refused to make exception to their “treat all customers as criminals” policy. I lost $38.69 for the mistake of doing business with this company. I hope this message can help other prospective customers avoid the same rip off."
