"I bought a belt with a carbon fiber buckle from NoNickel.com. I wore the belt 6 times (to go through airports & sit in an office) when the tongue of the buckle broke off. I contacted customer service, sent them photos, and--at their direction--sent them the belt (t my expense). I was told that the belt use was "rougher than intended" (not true, unless you count sitting in an office as "rough use"). BTW, this is the same line that I've seen them use in response to other reviews when their products failed. They said that they'd fix it (month or so turnaround) if I paid an additional $12 in shipping. I asked them to pay the shipping since it's their buckle that failed and they refused. When I asked them to just ship it back; they refused unless I paid for shipping. I know that running a small business is tough; but, they're treating customers poorly and ruining their reputation just to say a buck or two. ($12 in this case)."
"yes, 3 time customer. They offer a huge selection and help me ID the best belt for my needs. I am tough on belts, they hold up. Trusted Seller. "
"We bought 2 nickel free belts within a year and both belts fell apart without warning. Both belts were warranty replacement guarantee belts if they fell apart for normal wear. The first time it happened we just went ahead and bought another one. The second time it happened we notified the company and the owner mike said he would send us the bolts to fix it instead of replacing it like the guarantee stated. First off I'm not in the belt making industry and secondly I bought it bc of the warranty. We bought the belt May 2nd and by September 20th it had fallen apart. I explained to him that he needed to honor his guarantee and send a new belt. He then said I could pay to ship it back to him and he would fix it. Really bad business. Then he decided to get nasty via email with my wife when she messaged about the item. I will never buy another item from this company. They are false advertising and taking advantage of people in the process and they have a total disrespect for customer service. Please stay away from this company if you care about your money and customer service. They are running a scam on buyers."
"I have a nickel allergy, and it's impossible to find nickel-free belts in stores (which even if dept store belts say 'stainless steel' can still be hardened with nickel). NoNickel's belts have beenpretty good quality and haven't caused me any problems. I bought on Amazon the first time, as I was skeptical like another reviewer, but now I buy direct."
"They screwed up my initial order. They rectified it. Then my belt only lasted for 9 months before totally cracking. The guy explained that it was a cheap one from China and they could give me partial credit towards a new one. I asked how long he thought my belt should have lasted. He said 1 year. It didn't last that long, but they won't replace it. "
"I ordered a belt from NoNickel.com after living for months with a painful rash caused by the nickel in my old belt buckle.
When I ordered the belt, I paid with Paypal and I didn't realize until I received the order email from this company that Paypal had an old address on file for me. I quickly emailed NoNickel.com and asked them to send the belt to my current address instead of to the Paypal address. However, they shipped the belt within a few hours of the order--before realizing that I had emailed an address change request. After a few emails with the company they happily mailed a second belt to my actual address without charging me for the one that was mailed to my old address.
Needless to say, I am very happy with NoNickel.com's customer service. I am also very pleased with the quality of their products and the speed at which their products get shipped. I plan on purchasing all future nickel-free products from this company."
"I found this website while looking for a hypo-allergenic belt or buckle for my husband. Not only was I able to find a handsome belt that he could cut to fit (he's thin so sometimes he has trouble finding the perfect fit), but I was able to find a product that would help with grommets on clothes, etc. that couldn't be changed. Shipping was reasonable and it got here very quickly. Their website might look a little sparse but don't worry--they are legitimate."
