"Purchased a wine bottle opener for my wife for Christmas. Charged an extra $9.95 for shipping which is rediculous as it was very small and light. Then item wouldn't take the corks out it actually pushed them inside the bottle. So went to return it for defective and want to charge me an additional $9.95 to ship it back. The item cost $27 and useless and want to charge me $20 for shipping so they can get their item back and me have nothing. In todays age of online purchases this policy is a joke and will never buy from Nordstrom Rack and will tell everyone how bad they are. "
"If I could give a negative 4 star I would! I made two returns one for 54.97 and 189.97 that was returned to my account. I have contacted customer service just for them to call the store and the store won't return my call. And after 6 attempts still nobody will help me or open some kind off investigation to find out ( here's the best part) who's credit card the number she supervisor read of to me. When I said that was not any count of mine she's said oooohhhhhhh you need to call the store so for the 6th time I'm waiting for a call that will must likely not come. Tampa Florida Nordstrom rack is not only a dump it clearly stills from people. But for all my troubles I get free shipping on my next order. Thanks but how about you give me my 255.94 plus tax back and keep your free shipping"
"Ordered YSL sunglasses which arrived with a Givenchy case. ??? Looked fake so I returned everything the next day. I verified that they received the return. Over one month later, still waiting for my refund which shows as “processing.” Have repeatedly called and utilized chat. Standard response…they are “within timeframe.” I wrote a review which was not accepted for publication. Imagine that! I feel that a class action lawsuit is in order. Anyone care to join? "
"I purchased a couple of pairs of shoes and a set of rings. One of the shoes was the wrong size and so were the rings. Sent them back and got a "refund" on the shoes in the amount of $18 on $70 shoes. Also had to pay shipping. The rings were never refunded and I had ordered a second set on their guarantee of refund. The second order was also wrong, and I paid AGAIN for a third set, which was correct. Finally. At this point however I am out for 2 wrong sets of rings and the shoes. They say they never got the returns, which is wrong according to tracking and according to their own reps at the time. I do not recommend using them, Nordstrom's is not the legend they used to be."
"The NordstromRack.com return service is not to be trusted. I returned a large package of several items back to their San Bernadino fulfillment center (over $1000 of merchandise), the fulfillment center claimed one of the items I had packaged was not received by them. I spent over a month dealing with their subpar costumer service who all batted me around and would not respond to emails. This was an extremely exhausting and stressful experience to get my full refund. I reached out to the corporate office, the market research, the financial services and submitted all of my return and shipping documentation/confirmation from the post office using their prepaid label service, they still tried to deny my refund and refused to issue it. I would not trust to use this website and unfortunately do not live close to a store to make returns. I believe the employees at this fulfillment center are stealing merchandise out of returned packages. You should save all of your return documentation and make sure your refund is processed. I would not recommend this site and will never be ordering online from them again, they are not trustworthy and do not ensure the security of returned items. I paid $9.95 to use their return service and it was still this mess."
"When I received a pair of shorts I ordered, I immediately noticed that they didn't sew the entire bottom of the shorts. I called to return the item and after 4 calls a manager guarantee she would note my account that I was to get a full refund including shipping and tax.
Finally, I received notice of the return and that the refund was only half of what I paid. Again, I made another 4 calls and spoke to a manager named Karen. She advised there were NO notes in the computer left by the prior manager. She refunded me for the other half of the cost of the shorts that I had paid but refused to refund the shipping charges. Ridiculous. They send me a defective product, but I don't get refunded for the shipping. If I had received a pair of shorts that weren't defective, I would have kept the shorts. So, I'm penalized for them sending me garbage instead of what I ordered. This is so they can earn a couple of bucks. I have shopping with Nordstrom for over 35 years but never again! Horrible customer service."
"Went to Nordstrom Rack to buy suits, the jackets were actually sewn so you couldsee the stitching and they wanted $300.00, they looked like leftovers from some Salvation Army store. It was crowded and messy and generally unpleasant. Sad day. I guess I can only say "Bye Felicia ""
"I am appalled at the way I was treated today because I was yelled at across the store to put my mask up. , I was followed and harrassed until I left. I can’t have a mask fit snugly due to medical reasons but that means I can’t shop there. They embarrassed and harrassed me
And yet they didn’t harass all the ppl in the store who did not socially distance in line or while shopping. They didn’t sanitize carts or at checkout. There was an empty bottle of hand sanitizer which means they do not follow cdc guidelines even though that was their excuse kicking me out. In addition to this sleazy behavior, I had misrepresentations online where they took my money and told me 3 weeks later they were out of stock. Seems like a scam using customers as their bank. Elven more suspicious when it shows the item in stock. After my treatment today along with managements attitude, I have to conclude this is a very skeevy organization. "
"They have deceptive selling tactics online. Example: they’ll show a very high end item at a crazy discount (think 86-95% off an item with MSRP of over $500). Then you’ll try to order and it will show as sold out so you can order or it will let you order and then they’ll cancel your order within a day or 2 because it is sold out. Fine, I can see that this might happen by mistake on something that everyone wants to order. The item will eventually Be taken off the site as it’s not actually available. BUT THEN THEY WILL PLACE THE ITEM UP FOR SALE AGAIN, like a week or 2 later. I have seen them do this at least 4 times with the same item over the course of several months.
Generally At least half of what I order Ends up getting canceled. Sometimes it takes a few days to get canceled, one time it took almost a month! There is never any explanation as to why. They don’t attempt service recovery, even after leaving me hanging for several weeks. Their online chat function does not work, so I am forced to call their customer service number and wait on hold forever. Just a generally unpleasant shopping experience unless you truly don’t care if you’ll actually ever receive what you order. And if that’s the case, why would I even order to begin with? "

"I purchased online and received confirmation that my purchase would arrive at a certain date. Then later that day I received a notice that I was refunded..no explanation..maybe an employee stole my the item I purchased. I would recommend staying away from Nordstrom Rack and never purchasing online from them. Disappointed having higher expectations from company I used to purchase alot from over 20 years ago. This company has changed for the worst. "

"I have shopped at this store but online. Harder to shop in the store (in my opinion). I saw the other review that only gave Nordstrom Rack one star and I would have to disagree. I have bought numerous things online and have been more than pleasantly pleased with the cost but also when I did not like something, returning in the store each time has been a BREEZE. I was actually VERY PLEASED with the customer service. So for all of my experiences, I rate them outstanding.
