"I ordered an Olympus C2100 that was advertised as new and when it finally arrived it was a refurbished product. When I was ordering the Mack Warranty, I specifically asked if I could use the warranty here in Denver, the salesperson said yes and that I would receive a list of the service centers in Denver. When I received the package and warranty information, Mack states on its warranty that I have to send it to them at an expense to get it fixed. I was also told I should receive the package in 7-10 days, it took 3 weeks. When I inquired on the 11th day, I was told it had not arrived to them yet, but when they got it they would send it express. When I received it, 2 weeks later, it had gone ground parcel and I was charged a $37.46 special delivery charge. I am very disappointed in this purchase and fearful I have wasted $580 on this whole deal!!"

"I ordered an Olympus C-3020 from NPB on 11/11/02. The shipping on my order confirmation was listed as $13.95. But when my order arrived I discovered an additional $29.45 was added ($43.40). Furthermore, the camera was refurbished and clearly defective. I was required to return the defective camera at my own expense and by the time the replacement camera (also refurbished) arrived it was now 12/11/02. This camera was also defective. At this point I lost complete faith in this company and tried to return the merchandise. They agreed to take the defective camera back, minus a 10% restocking fee. I had purchased a three-year warranty for $65.00 but they refused to refund this warranty (I now own a warranty on a camera I no longer own) and of course they did not refund the $43.00 in shipping. Needless to say I will never order from NPB again.

"James was helpful and not to pushy. Order arrived complete and in a timely fashion. Camera advertised as new but was really "overstock" that had been examined by Olympus but that means only a 90 day warrant (vs. one year). Still camera delivered in excellant shape and at a good price."

"Thanks to the other review of this vendor, I knew to be on guard. And sure enough, I got the dreaded "confirmation call" a few days after I ordered and the sales guy was pretty pushy about the extras. When I turned him down, he calculated the total including a high shipping rate and mandatory "9% insurance" surcharge that completely erased any price advantage of this vendor. I cancelled because I don't want this sort of business practice rewarded."

"The company advertised a digital camera Olympus C-3040 for a price of $415 and showed it to be in stock. I placed an order, a few days later got a "confirmation" call. I was asked to confirm my address, etc. and then a salesperson asked me if i wanted to buy accessories with the camera. I said no, and the sales guy told me that the camera was back ordered...
