"Signed up for an account. Called about ordering 11 Halo down lights RL460WH930PK showing a price of $ .15 ea when they are selling elsewhere for $35 ea. Phone call went to voice mail with no response after two days. Sent email same day and no response either after two days. Extremely poor customer service and probably not able to deliver for prices posted on their website"

"I went to order track connectors which they claimed & showed to be in stock on their web site. We placed order and after 5 days I called to check on my order. They replied that the items were out of stock and would not be available for 14 day later. I reminded them that their website stated they were in stock and we had other options had we known they could not deliver. They asked if we wanted to cancel the order and we replied yes please cancel the order, three days later we had not gotten a response that the order had been cancelled. We again sent them an email to cancel the order and we had purchased the items from another source and not to charge the card. Two days later we received the items that had been cancelled twice. Their lack of response and truthfulness of website will keep us from ever using them again."

"Ridiculous pricing policies. I ordered a set of fixtures, then received an email saying they wouldn't ship them unless I paid a higher price because "the manufacturer raised their price". Any retailer, online or otherwise, should live up to their posted price. If a company lags in posting new prices, without building in an expectation of the costs of replacing inventory, that's their mistake. To follow North Shore Lighting's logic, I would assume that if a manufacturer lowered their prices after a customer made an order, that they'd refund the difference based on a lower inventory replacement? I seriously doubt it. Frankly, it's ridiculous. I will never order from this company again, and I would suggest that others avoid wasting their time with this company."

"In reply to orders that take longer than normal seven to ten day delivery.
Ninety-Five to One Hundred percent of our Factory Fresh Material is Shipped Direct To The Customer from the Manufacturer. Sometimes items are sold out before some orders get filled. Therefore if the Manufacturer doesn't have your item(s) odds are most Distributors aren't going to have it either. Customers are No Way Obligated to Wait 3-6 weeks for Material Unless by Choice. We Do Not Charge a Cancellation Fee.
In response to our delayed billing practice.
We now charge at time of order.

"I ordered halo recessed lights. The order was arrived with considerable delay (47 days). I did not received any updates as to the status of my order and only received a very abrupt email, after numerous attempts to contact. 67days after the order was placed the company got around to billing my card. I placed a call and spoke to the owner as to the multiple delays and poor customer service. the owner was very rude and offered now explanation. I highly recommend going with a more professional company that knows how to treat its customers.

"Nice product catalog. My item was drop-shipped from manufacturer after a long delay.

The time elapsed from ordering to receiving was 39 days and that the order status was not communicated well. Credit card was charged 10 days after order date. Business responded to email and phone inquiries with promise to get back in touch with status but never did.
