"I am impressed on how quickly my order was received. Always appreciate less stress during this season. "
"Very good quality pipe, timely shipping. Good packaging no damage to anything I ordered. "
"Initially tried to on-line chat with the company and was told by the representative that he couldn't help me with this product. I then called and was told that I had a 13 minute wait for the next representative. I hung up. I was just trying to make sure that I was ordering the correct size (which I did. It fits fine). I was also surprised to find out that the fulfillment company is actually "Online Stores LLC". This did not give me a warm fuzzy. (the generic name just reeks of suspicion) Ordering was simple and I was able to easily track shipping. Packaged arrived beat up but the grate was fine. Haven't had a fire yet but am hopeful that it will hold up just fine. Small print states that the Lifetime Warranty would be void if the grate is allowed to sit in hot embers. (where nothing of the such was stated up front) Um, I'm pretty sure I would be hard pressed to prove that I didn't allow it to "sit in hot embers" if I ever had a claim. So, in my estimation, the warranty is probably not worth the paper it is written on. In a nutshell, the grate is very heavy and appears to be well built. Time will tell on the longevity. "
"One corner weld was broken. Poor packaging.
Don't know if rough handling caused the damage or
poor quality control of build. Items need to be properly
packaged with corner supports and fill instead of put
in a box with just paper."
"Confirmed by phone: Parts were supposed to be picked on Friday and still did not ship until Thursday the week after. Did not keep any timeline they promised."
"I ordered my whole chimney from them 14000$ I had to email them over 6 times about my order every time I asked where my items were they would ship out 1 piece at a time the last piece I needed the adapter I called I email I web chatted the only answers I got was were sending it soon soon soon, 3 weeks later still soon I canceled what was left they just strung me along instead of telling me hay sorry we don't have it in stock. Don't waste your time I never had to beg a company to take my money and ship my stuff"
"These people are ok. just make sure you order the right stuff. "
"I ordered the item on the 4th of the month. The item was shipped on the 14th, 10 days to ship an item is unreal. When I needed to return it due to having to purchase from another vendor due to slow shipping I was told that it was day 30 of a 30 day return policy and no return label could be produced. 30 day return policy? Day 30? Mind you that is 30 days from order date of the 4th not from ship date of the 14th and receipt date of the 18th. Northline Express also does business as Online Stores LLC so basically Northline Express is just a front it seems. Terrible customer service, do not stand behind their policy, turtle slow shipping. I was going to order all new kit and triple wall from them but i'm going through Home Depot now who has a better price on what I need as well as fast shipping. Buyer beware!"
"Kathy at Nortline advises the company was sold so therefore they cannot access my account even though I can still log in. Even gave them the original e-mail they sent me with the order number. The SV 3100 Skeeter Vac ran for 5 months and then would not stay running the following season. Blue Rhino says no repairs to this unit, you need to by a new engine / head at a cost of $300. Terrible customer service from both Northline & Blue Rhino, unit only worked for 5 months at a purchase cost of $350.00 so why would I waste another $300.00 on a piece of crap??? Just checked Northline’s website and they won’t even post my negative review and see they only post the good reviews. Buyer Beware. No one to blame but yourself if you decide to use them."
"This company is not what they say they are. The website did not take my order and i had to place it through customer service which was snippy and unhelpful. The wood pellet stove i ordered was drop shipped from Alabama. It did not work and had manufacturing and assembly defects. I spent dozens of hours getting the stove to work. The door latch was broken when the stove was delivered. I had to order a new handle assembly from another company. When it came I saw that the original was not even assembled right at the factory. The shape of the door opening was not not even flush with the door when the door handle was fixed. I needed to make the door opening even with the door with epoxy putty. The company states that they are in Michigan but the address on the bill of lading is in Shreveport LA. The company claims that the stove has a warranty but it means nothing. They will refuse it and probably blame you for voiding the warranty. Avoid this company. You will not save any money even if you don't account for the time you spend on it."
"This company shows products that it doesn't have in stock and charges your card for them before bothering to check.
I ordered a Skeetervac as well as some tac traps on Aug 11 a Thursday , on the 12th I get an email about my order shipping, I thought everything was good but I hadn't noticed that only part of the order was included in the shipment, since the full amount was withdrawn from my bank account. Three days later I get an email from someone, no mention of the company name or anything, just the name Kathy Olson with a number listed in the subject line, it looked like one of those typical spam emails. I open the email to find out that they don't have the Skeetervac in stock, they wont be ordering anymore and she includes a link to another company that should have them but of course charges 30 dollars more(despite the fact that I can buy it from several large retailers on the internet for very close to the price I was originally paying). So now I have tac traps for a Skeetervac somewhere in the mail (no tracking number either) and no Skeetervac to put them on and they wasted 3 days that could have been used to get one from another company.
Do yourself a favor and just buy from a reputable retailer, it's well worth it even if it costs a few dollars more, since it will save you the time and headaches of dealing with companies like these. "
"DOES NOT: PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE
My chat transaction today.
I was ready to buy right now ($1,000 worth of wood stove pipe), I requested they price match (from $1,150 to $1,000ish) and this is what I was told:
Danielle
I do not see any notes regarding a price match, Alisha will be in tomorrow from 9-4 if you would prefer to be able to speak with her. Or I can locate the items via the links and then contact you. We do not price match with companies such as Amazon, or other auction sites, or the box stores such as Tractor Supply
Rob
Really?
Danielle
Yes
Rob
It says "Lowest Price Guarantee" next to each product.
It doesn't say anything about... except for (other websites)
Are you sure you want to lose a customer over false guarantees?
Are you a manager or is there a manager I can call?
Danielle
We are an online retailer we are not able to make the large stock purchases as the box stores are able to make, and auction sites do not have a set price.
Rob
I will be sure to not buy from here.
Thanks but no thanks.
Danielle
My manager is the one who told me we do not match with those entities
Have a wonderful weekend"
"Bought a woodstove and stovepipe from Northline, price was good and so was shipping experience. Problem came with the stove's performance. By the time it was cold enough for me to discover that the stove did not burn anywhere near as long as they claimed and that it would not adequately heat a well insulated space 1/3 the size they claimed it was, it was past their 90 day warranty. Not only wouldn't they stand behind their stove and claims they would offer no help and assistance to coax their product to do what they'd claim. Deal with these folks at your own risk."
"I ordered a large Weber gas grill on line on a Thursday and spoke to a rep the next day to answer a question or two about it. I paid 39 extra for lift-gate service. The grill shipped on Saturday and arrived at my home on Friday during the window I set up with the freight service. There were no problems with the grill as delivered. Altogether an excellent experience and the price was the best I found from a place I felt I could trust. The estimate I got that it would take 30 minutes to assemble the grill was, let us say, wildly optimistic. Just getting all the protective film off takes that long. Bottom line: I recommend NorthlineExpress."
