"Same story as several others here. Order taken and acknowledged,payment taken immediately, not listed as back-ordered. Couple of email requests for status went unanswered. Phone calls followed with the story we're out of stock, truck coming Monday and you'll get a shipping confirmation in the mail, Wed. comes no confirmation, phone call, Oh it's on the truck coming but we don't know where the truck is but by next Monday for sure, REPEAT this process until I demanded a refund. Refund WAS processed the same day with an apology, but I lost over a month of wait time, and a few hours of call time chasing status "
"After a week with no communications from them, I called on a Monday and a woman told me the rebuild kit was out of stock and it would be in Wed and the order would ship then. The next Monday 9-20-10 I called again to see if the order had been shipped, and the man who answered was rude when I told him the order was supposed to ship last Wed. While I was on hold I located this web site and found the reviews to indicate something wrong with this company's business practices. He came back and told me the rebuild kit was there but item 2 was now not in stock. I felt this was a terrible way to treat a customer and told him so, and did not want to get into another waiting game while something else becomes out of stock. I wanted the order canceled and my credit card refunded the full amount that day since they debited my card immediately on receipt of my order. He said it would take longer and I said If you can debit in one day you can credit in one day. He then swore at me saying "your G-d Damned order is canceled" along with other expletives I need not repeat here. He hung up on me while continuing to curse. I'll never do business with this company again. Really poor customer relations.
I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED CREDIT BACK ON MY CANCELED ORDER. I RECOMMEND NOT BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY.

"Ordered online. Got no notification of shipment so I called several days later. It has not shipped. Gentleman on the phone said they were getting a whole pallet of the product the next day. Yeah right. I cancelled my order. So far, no credit card refund. I will almost guarantee these I will have to get a hold of my credit card company after a month to dispute. AVOID."
"Order placed and credit card charge immediately. order never shipped. I called once a week and was repeatedly told that there is a backorder on one of the items. After about a month, I was told it was a PERMANENT backorder. They no longer stock one of the items ordered. No attempt made from their side to let me know of the situation and no attempt to cancel the part of the order that they will not ever send. They didn't even cancel the entire order, perferring to keep all the money without providing any service at all."

I made nearly a dozen follow-up phone calls and e-mails trying to understand the status of my order, with no answers or replies with any information. I assumed the company was going into bankruptcy and nearly bought another saw.
On August 10th, the chainsaw finally shipped with no explanation or apology.
I won't be shopping with these people again."
"Ordered parts 9 days ago and none were in stock. They say they are on order but cannot tell me what day the order was sent to the manufacturer or when my parts will ship to me. Worst, when calling the attitude is you will get it when you get it. Upon ordering there is no communication that the parts are not in stock or how long it will take to get them. CC is charged upon ordering (not upon shipment)."
"All I can say is if you are looking to buy anything from this company you better not need it quickly. I placed an order for a one part for my chainsaw. It was listed as an in stock item and the price was a couple dollars cheaper than other stores. I ordered the part and it took 10 days for them to process and ship this one little part. My order is scheduled to arrive on July 12th. Not what I would call great service and the nice part is that I sent them three emails trying to follow-up on the order and I received 0 replies. If you are not looking to receive you purchase anytime soon this is the place for you."
"I placed an order on 12/'9 (8am), and on 12/17, I hadn't received the order (but my card was charged). So, I called the company and was told that the item was back ordered, and would not arrive by Christmas. If I hadn't of called the company, I would never have found this out. They were highly unprofessional, and now I have to look elsewhere for the product and pay extra shipping to get the item before Christmas. If you can, go elsewhere to spend your money as this company obviously doesn't care about customer service. "

"Very Satisfied. The prices for Husqvarna Chainsaws are the best I could find. I ordered on a Saturday and received delivery the following Friday. The entire order was delivered and everything was well packed. They even included a quick start guide attached to the invoice. I will definitely look to them first for any future orders."
"Hedge trimmer could not be assembled due to unthreaded hole where a screw is supposed to go. The screw would not go in more than quarter inch.
I called NPEC. I was told this was a warranty issue and to take it to an authorized dealer to get a repair. The hedge trimmer was new. I should not be required to seek warranty repair on a new product immediately after receiving it.
I returned the hedge trimmer. I lost over a hundred dollars in various charges. My return shipping by UPS ground cost less than half what NPEC charged me for UPS ground shipping "
"I was in the market for a new chain saw and while searching vendors I came across this company. I couldn't believe the prices they were advertizing along with the fact that they gave you 3 chains with the saw. I came here to check them out and saw they had a good rating but a very low number of people rating them so I took a chance. I placed my order online and held my breath. Well these guys did exactly what they advertized. They promptly filled my order and shipped it out. I live in FL and even though it shipped ups ground I received my saw 4 days later. The order was properly filled and as far as I'm concerned they're the newegg of power equipment. I need an echo power pruner next and I'll be placing my order these guys soon. If you need power equipment give these guys a chance to earn your business."
"How a merchant responds to a problem is often a true test of its character. And Norwalk responded with integrity and class.
Long story short, an apparent web site glitch caused Norwalk to omit some accessories from my Husky chain saw order. Though the web site and my receipt clearly showed these items, they apparently should not have been included. A subsequent visit to their web site confirmed they had since fixed the problem, yet I was caught in the middle.
Just when I thought I was about to get the ol' bait & switch, Norwalk agreed to ship these accessories free of charge! I received my original order AND these accessories quickly, everything was top notch, and their prices are excellent.
I will use Norwalk for all my future power equipment needs."
