"Yep as many more have posted on here or Yelp or How many other reviews , I called Norwall Power Systems back in March 2021 to order a Kohler Auto Transfer Switch as was not sure what to order so I talked with one of there EXPERTS as it say's on there web site , yep that EXPERT told me the one to order as I did, After waiting from End of March to End of May 2021 I finally got my ATS. My Electriction comes to install it gee guess what it's the wrong one not compatiable with my 2012 Kohler 20 res w/rdc controller. So now the fun starts NOT yep NO CUSTOMER but there isn't any The Manager told me pretty much to bad you ordered it , I said yes I did with your EXPRETS help, her responce he no longer works here , I said so !! It's the wrong one and needs to go back so PLEASE send me return Label and Send me a refund, Norwall NO can't as you installed it on your house well DUH he was going to hook it up WTF !! "Buyer Beware, I ordered a generator in Jan, 2021. supposedly it was sent from Champion on the 8th of March. It is now 4/2/21. shipment still in Texas. Contacted Norwall Power Systems by phone several times over the last 2 weeks. No one from Norwall could tell me anything about my order, when i would get it. So today 4/2/21 @10:52am I ended up talking to a Manager Sharon D ****@**** . She was very rude. She said I have 2 choices, "1) I could continue to wait for my shipment, 2) they could order me another" understanding it could take another 3 months plus another month for shipping. I said which way would be the fastest for me to receive it? Under her Breath, she said "some people are so difficult" I said "yes some people are" she said, "I didn't ask you that, I gave you 2 options, now you have 3, you can get a refund" this Manager is the worst I have ever dealt with. I choose option 3 Refund, but I have yet to receive it. I have file a complaint through the Better Business Bureau BBB"
"I ordered a Westinghouse inverter generator that was out of stock everywhere at the time. Norwall allowed me to purchase one, and within two weeks (still sold out everywhere else) it was at my door. I called once to get a timeframe on delivery at the beginning of the process, and because it wasn't in stock they couldn't give me one, but the customer service person on the phone could not have been nicer. While there was a ding in the box, I could tell that it was superficial. Generator looks and works great. Great experience."
"Five days after ordering, Norwall called and said they would need an additional $125.00 for shipping after order info stated zero for shipping. Also, their web site states no sales tax outside Arizona yet they charged over $330 sales tax. Don't believe their order confirmation. DO NOT use Pay Pal with these folks because if and when they post a refund, I will have nearly $3700 trapped in my Pay Pal account which means I cannot order from anyone else until after the refund is posted and I will have to shop with someone who accepts PayPal. "
"No communication from the time of sale to the time of delivery. I specifically put instructions in the notes for them to communicate with our team since we have to get a crane out for delivery. So they send an email with a tracking number with a broken link and then show up unannounced and then want us to pay for a redelivery. I call and they don't care about any of our issues. I get told to read the fine print. Literally that's what Sheri was telling me. Anyways, we are fast growing electrical contractor and at least we learned our lesson early about dealing with Norwall, the whale of a problem company. "
"I purchased a generator on April 6 and with this purchase I was supposed to receive a free portable generator within six weeks today is July 6 and still no generator. I’ve spoke with 1 representative and got a lame excuse of why I hadn’t received my generator. Since then I’ve not been able to speak to a live person. I’ve not received any response to messages or emails concerning the matter. It appears I will have to seek legal action. Do not purchase any products from this company "

I agreed to the terms based on typical and normal transactions, but I do not believe that a 3 month delay is remotely typical. Norwall took payment for a product 7 weeks ago and I was informed it will be another 5 weeks before it even ships. They said that if i wanted a refund then I would have to pay a 20% resocking fee on a $3000 purchase. The kicker is that they never had the item in stock, its being sent from the manufacture. Its always the after the sale or service that a company's true colors shine, they either step up or fail. The inability for company to alter its policy based on extraordinary circumstances is never a good sign.
Norwall was paid 3K for a generator that was shipped from the factory to my house. The delivery went bad, the generator was crated with a card board box draped across the top, it was opened and missing obvious parts.
While on the phone I was instructed by the Norwall representative to refuse delivery. As the truck drove off with the generator I had waited 4 weeks for, I was told that because of demand, it would be another 6 to 8 weeks. This was the last correspondence I got from Norwall, every attempt to check the status was initiated by me. Three weeks after the failed delivery they responded to my inquiry with the response " you want to cancel your order, then it will be a 20% restocking fee"
They then sent another email response 2 minutes later and stated that it was scheduled to ship 5 weeks from now, and wanted to know if I still wanted to cancel the order.
Norwall is a broker, they do not supply support and their customer service is ridiculously unprofessional.
Ignore Norwall and buy locally."
"Oy. I ordered a maintenance kit for a 20KW generator and received a kit that had NOTHING that fit except for the oil filter. The phone number doesn't work and there is no way to email.
The kit was only about $40 or so, but I'd like a partial refund. It would be so helpful to be able to contact these folks. Sending this stuff back is so expensive that it makes more sense to toss it."

I was pleased with Norwall’s wide selection, and information that helped during my selection process. They also had the lowest price on the web with no shipping or sales taxes added. There were other web retailers who offered the same generator for the same price, but had an 8-circuit transfer switch. Norwall offered a 10-circuit switch for the same price, so I had the ability to cover more circuits in my home during an outage. Compare carefully! The generator shipped out the day I ordered it and I could follow its progress via UPS and the tracking number. Norwall was the cheapest(1500.00), plus free shipping, oil&air filter, tailpipe, remote start wire 30ft long all included in this price. Also, free shipping. Everyone else was trying to charge from 80.00-125.00 for shipping. Also, cheapest I could find this generator elsewhere was 1769.00. Not only was Norwall.com the cheapest, when I called to verify price, included accessories, free shipping, I actually got a human on the phone. On top of that, they were able to actually answer a few technical questions I had, without being transferred. It's nice to find a business who can actually answer your questions without having to be transferred to 10 other departments, and having to hold for 20 minutes.
