I purchased a Medela Freestyle breast pump from this company. This place is absolutely terrible with after-sales assistance for their products!!! The owner, Marc, is quick to grab your money when you are purchasing items as a time poor new mum. But you better watch out if you have any problems with your product afterwards as he will try every possible excuse to make the process difficult for so you won't bother with an exchange and will resort to buying a new unit since you are so busy with your new bub.
Marc claims that his company is "passionate about pregnancy, breastfeeding, baby wearing and all things baby!" This guy has absolutely no compassion towards a new mother who medically needs her pump fixed to feed her baby and refused to have me drop in to test my malfunctioning machine. Apparently they were so busy that they could not attend to my repair and said that I should mail it to him so he can mail it to Medela (how long will that take?!)
I had to call the Medela helpline to sort him out since everything was under warranty (the machine is less than 6 months old). Medela were so helpful and told me to walk in there and demand it be fixed or exchanged that day - they said Marc is in the business to make dollars and has absolutely no regard for you or your baby.
Marc has found a great niche market to exploit breast feeding mothers - the margins are huge! Exploiting new mums who don't have the time to defend themselves. He doesn't give a stuff about women or breastfeeding, all he sees is dollar signs.

"Why else would they have a brownish yellowish tinge to them. I have ordered the same item from toys r us, baby bunting etc and have never received brand new bottles that looked like the ones I bought from nursing angel. Will never order feeding bottles on this site again! 1 item didn't arrive. Was told it wasn't in Stock...refunded only after I contacted them. 2nd item wasn't what I ordered. They sent me a substitute. I tried it, no fuss there, no complaints about the third item I ordered. Just the breastfeeding kit. They told me there is no way dirt, bugs or dust would get in the box and into the loose plastic bags containing the bottles, lids etc. The only items that came sealed were the breast pads and pacifier. The rest were not sealed and there was definitely something mixed up in it. It looked like dirt, dust or possibly bits of a cockroach. Why the hell would I make that up and not just use the items I ordered which I needed and will have to buy from a trusted retailer. The only reason I ordered from nursing angel was because of the "great testimonies" and because they had two other items I needed. Otherwise I would have bought the breastfeeding kit from the businesses I know and trust. Close to a hundred dollars wasted for an item I cannot use. And to return it would be a waste of time because Marc's email ruined any confidence I had in this company. He was defensive and made it clear he didn't like me insinuating the product I received was dirty etc. That doesn't sound like the kind of person who will conduct a fair investigation. It sounds like an individual who has already made up his mind about an issue concerning a customer. I will make a formal complaint about this. No mother should be made to pay for and use poor quality breastfeeding equipment and I certainly don't know of any mothers who would feed their babies using the items I received. Absolutely shocked and disgusted that a business operating in Australia would be so careless with a product made for women and their babies. Perhaps I got the last one in the batch. I don't know since they have now removed the product from their website. It doesn't say sold out like all the other items that are no longer in stock. The breastfeeding kit I purchased was erased and is no longer on their website. Maybe they'll put it back. I spoke with the manufacturer and the gentleman who handled my enquiry said the bottles might be yellow if they had been left to sit in a warehouse for a long time or if they are sterilised and boiled several times or lastly if they come in contact with harsh chemicals. He stated the product I purchased should not have a yellowish tinge if it is brand new and if it has been stored in the proper conditions. "
"I purchased a breast pump that was faulty, when I tried to contact nursing angel the phone numbers on the website were not in use, when I sent an email I received a phone number not listed on the site. I spoke to a person called "Danny" who told me I couldn't return the faulty pump, suggested I get Philips to send me a new one and sell the replacement on ebay to get my money back. When I told him I'm not happy about doing that he got very angry and hung up on me, when I called him back he hung up on me again. I had to get my refund via pay pal and I got consumer protection to call them to educate them of consumer law.
There is a happy ending to my story, I got my refund and I upgraded to a better breast pump from a different store so they missed out on big $$$ moral of the story is don't upset a woman who just gave birth. "

I had some questions about a breast pump and called their help line and had great and knowledgeable customer service.
They had very competitive prices, best price in the market that I could find for a Medela Freestyle breast pump. I ordered it before 11am on the day before I was discharged from hospital and it was waiting for me when I got home the next day.
I will definitely continue shopping with them and have ordered more items already. Plus referred several other mothers to their website, particulary for the breast pumps."
