A depressing experience.

"I was given a pound of Turkish figs as a gift by a friend that knows I love figs.

On the way home I could not help myself but to open the bag so I can enjoy a few driving back home.

Bag sitting in front of me right now and I can tell you that not one fig is edible. Very dry, old tasting, and have salt on them.

Really bummed out. I will let my friend know so he does not purchase anything else from them.

"The 50% less cashews, mixed nuts plus the dried Apricots were/are just delicious!! I find that for a nice snack these are delicious!

Live Bugs In Product

"I bought a sampler as a gift and when the family I gave it to opened it a month or two later there were live bugs crawling all over. Contacted the company and they did not make any effort whatsoever to make things right. Nothing, not even an apology by email. Phone call, nothing. They could care less. "

Bugs in the package. Yuck!

"I bought a five pound bag of Raw Spanish Peants from Nuts.com. After two months I found tiny, LIVE, black bugs in the bag. Since my product was more than a month old, I didn't ask for a refund, I just wanted to warn the company they might have a problem
I bought a second five pound bag from them. I poured the contents into a sealable plastic container to prevent any bug infestation on my part. Two months later I found more live black bugs.
I called the company again to try to warn them of a possible problem.
I keep getting emails from Brian telling me he can't refund my purchase price. "I'm NOT asking for a refund, I'm try to ask you to check their production line!"
I get more emails from Brian telling me he can't refund my money.
Scary.
I'm try to find the phone number of the Health Department in Cranford, New Jersey. Anyone know it?

"OMG Nuts.com is still charging their rediculous .98 surcharge on EVERY order?!?!?! Give it up already!!!!!!! Stop your corporate greed. Gas prices are down significantly, they already raised product prices to cover inflation!"

Their nuts seem seldom fresh.

"Practically every type of nut that I've tried tastes stale or strange. I'd imagine they sell old nuts all the time and most people are just too tasteless to notice. The company gets a lot of fanboys defending it probably because of the cute packaging and supposedly good customer service. I have yet to complain since I hate doing that. On the plus side, every non-nut item has been find. Their sweets are good, coffee is good, dried fruit is good. Just beware of stale nuts."

All around bad experience.

"Ordered 6 pounds of nuts and some malt ball centers. 3 pounds of coated nuts were all stale and soft. Almonds had a funky taste and the malt ball centers were just ok. The only item I ended up eating were the roasted salted peanuts in the shell. Customer service is poor at best. I got a partial refund on the 3 pounds of coated nuts and an excuse regarding the almonds were bad because of my "personal preference". I'm sorry, but in all my years, I've never tasted an almond like this.
I went back and forth with customer service in emails, and in the end, they just really don't care. It ended up costing me $24 for a pound of peanuts (the only item that wasn't gross). I could've gotten about 8 pounds of peanuts from the grocery store for that amount, and the taste and quality are the same.
This was my first and last order with this company.

I'm a total NUT for Nuts.com

"This is the best company with a wonderful family history and heritage. If you're not satisfied with this company, you're just not a happy person. PERIOD. Don't believe me? Go ahead and order something. If you don't like it, then you just don't like much at all!

I've also ordered from this company for years. I'd like to see some of you people that have nothing better to do than to leave nasty, mean spirited reviews run a business like Nuts.com

These people worked hard and love what they do, and have a sense of humor too, unlike your nasty and mean spirited reviews!

Because you'd fail! Period.

GREED AND DISHONESTY - you will lose your money.

"I have ordered from this company for YEARS, and in the past left them good reviews. Well, someone must have retired and the younger generation taken over because they have gone downhill fast. I have noticed some decline in product quality over the past year, but was hoping that was just "supply chain" issues. But, over the past year, they stopped using FedEx. They now use something called CDL. In the past when using FedEx everything would come the next day, including shipments involving more than one box, It was like clockwork. It was great. But this CDL is very sketchy - it is almost like a Doordash type of service. Unprofessional drivers pull up in plain vans with no logo. They get out talking really loud on their cell phones, many times cursing. They toss your box on the doorstep like it is garbage. I have probably had 3 orders so far where CDL delivered. I put up with the unprofessional behavior because at least I got my orders. But this past week I ordered a bunch of stuff and it got shipped in 2 boxes. 30lbs of peanuts that cost me $90 was in one box, and the small stuff was in the other. The lazy cursing driver dropped off the smaller box and left. There is no indication where the other package is. It would not shock me if the guy steals stuff and he stole the second box for whatever reason. So, this company has now gotten so greedy they hire a horrible delivery service that loses/steals customer orders. I have both called and emailed. "We will ask the carrier and email you." They never write back. They have my 90 dollars now. I am working on a dispute with my credit card and am filing a complaint with the New Jersey Attorney General's Consumer division. Tines are hard for everyone, and for places like this to take people's money under false pretenses is unacceptable. AVOID THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE WORRYING ABOUT LOSING MONEY AND HAVING TO FILE CREDIT CARD DISPUTES. "

No Longer A Longer Time Buyer

"I notice at least one other Florida customer mentioning receiving a nut order that was sub-standard to the point of being inedible.
Ergo I add my two cents:
I wanted to have a large amount of mixed nuts for the holidays. I'm a long time buyer from NUTS, having patronized their brand when they were nutsonline (NUTS stills comes when one types nutsonline).
I loved the service, the wonderful quality of everything, especially their nut selection. Until the last couple of orders.
This week's order included 'Jumbo' peanuts, hazel nuts, brazil nuts.
The peanuts were tiny and blah tasting; the hazel nuts showed obvious rot: the brazils were small and tasteless.
There I've said my piece, yet I don't feel any better for it.

Poor delivery scheme

"When I visited the website, I was taunted by the fact that if I ordered something like the chestnuts I did, that it would arrive by Black Friday 11/26 so I placed my order on Tuesday 11/23. Next day I get an email saying my order was delayed until Saturday. Wasn't too much of an issue because I ordered these so that I could enjoy with my family during this holiday period. Saturday came and went, Monday came and went only to receive my shipment on Tuesday 11/30 (trk - *******14593552). I did call them Monday evening, but all they could tell me is that it's arriving Tuesday. Nothing about the fact that the website promised me that it would get there last Friday. Had I received proper information before ordering, I would NOT have placed this order. My chestnuts are here, but I am very disappointed in the way Nuts.com taunts you to order something and NOT care about when the shipment arrives. FedEx to me is the worst shipping company around. I rarely get things on time with them. I didn't pick them, Nuts.com did so they are just as responsible even if shipping was free because I ordered above the trigger point. If you don't care about when you receive your supplies from them, then order away; otherwise, don't trust the dates they PROMISE you."

Zero Customer service

"Ordered Chocolate chips 8 November received peanuts 12 November. Notified nutshop 15 November. I had to ship it back and they had to receive it before they would ship the chips. I called 22 November and only then did they "reorder". They didn't care that it was their mistake, I will shop elsewhere."

Nuts.com can't keep promised delivery dates

"I gave nuts.com plenty of time to get my order delivered as the product was in stock. They gave me a delivery date during the order. Then they emailed me the same good delivery date after the order But the gift that I needed before I left for out of town on a holiday trip never got to my house until after I left and on the next day, LATE. Poor customer service and promises. I paid extra for delivery in packaging also to ensure no melting of the chocolate. If you can't deliver on your promises, I'll shop elsewhere."
