"I purchased the Groupon deal that was online at the beginning of the year. I ordered my products and had a few week wait time, but was sent an apology e-mail explaining how unexpectedly popular the sale had been. On that order we tried the starving students mix, cinnamon gummy bears, banana chips and dried pineapple. All of the products tasted fresh and were delicious.

I placed another order on the 13th of this month (August). To my great surprise, the box was delivered on the morning of the 18th. I placed another order this afternoon because they are having a $10 off sale. I am a big fan of Nutty Guys and think the other reviewers here should be a little more understanding of a business trying to stay current and jumping into the Groupon pool (because consumers wanted it) not knowing what to expect.

"These guys are running a scam, sold so many groupons but never had anything in stock. On top of that, the website is full of bugs you can never figure out if anything is ever in stock. My groupon was expiring and they never had the item in stock, they promised me that they will honor the expired groupons and just wait for the items. That was a flat out lie. If you call them, expect to devote at least 2-3 hours of your life to that, you will forever be ion hold and then it will go to a machine and no one will ever call you back. In case they pick up, they have a tendency to hang up on you. I was finally able to place an order over the phone but the csr didnt put my apt number in the address and now the shipment is nowhere to be found. I wasted 5 hours yesterday and 4 hrs the day beforetrying to speak to someone at this pathetic company and all I got is an email saying "sorry, nothing we can do"."

"Terrible customer service. They do NOT respond to emails or phone messages. Order took a very long time to process and then arrive. And one of the packages of nuts was rancid. I would not recommend them."

"I want to first say that the quality of their merchandise is great. I purchased a groupon a few weeks back for Nutty Guys. A few issues I noticed is that their checkout process was a bit buggy. I had to refill my cart about 3 times before I finally completed checkout. Perhaps it was the extra volume from the Groupon but a full week later my order still showed as not shipped. I contacted their support who in a day or two responded with only "Your order is in process and should be shipped out in the next few days." No apology or explanation. The email was also a bit unprofessional as it seemed to have a "search the web" text field in it. So I'm a bit irked about paying about $10 for shipping and having to wait so long for shipping.

The order finally arrived and I enjoy it, but I wanted to detail my experience in the hopes that they either get their act together or that I save someone the time of buying here and potentially having a bad experience. I probably won't be shopping there again.
