"I placed an order on the OPSGEAR website. Within a few days, I got an email saying the warehouse had my order ready to ship out. Then, for two WEEKS, radio silence. I finally get in contact with the company (the phone number on their website is non-functional) and they inform me that, no, the warehouse never had my order because the item was oversold.
After being lied to, I demanded a refund. Instead of giving me the refund, they tried to sell me other items.
After disputing the charge with my credit card company, I finally received my refund.
Don't buy the "owned and operated by marines" BS. This company belongs in a septic tank. "

"Following a purchase for tactical vests at a local store, I went onto OpsGear to see what else is available for the vests. I was amazed the same vests I purchased were available from OpsGear at a lower price than I had paid locally. I was concerned the shipping time would be excessive, as the local store told me it would take up to 16 weeks to get a new order.. But, exactly as advertised, the vests were the same quality I had bought from the local store and I received my shipment within 2 weeks! Plenty of time before Christmas!"
"It has room for all my gear. It's important to know that the bag has a gun compartment that has velcro, but you need to supply the holster.

"I do not have it in me to look up all the dates for this shopping fiasco to post a fully detailed timeline; however, I will say that I ordered a coat on 11/26/16 and as of today, 12/21/16, the refund still has not posted to my account.
I was allowed to order a coat which Ops Gear did not have in stock. Online the coat was in stock and it still showed in stock after I was told it was not available. How does a vendor do that?! Ops Gear showed the same coat, but in a different size, as being out of stock. You were not able to add it to the shopping cart for purchase as a result.
It took me contacting Ops Gear to find out when my coat would ship to be told that it was not available. I was asked if I wanted a different color. Uh, no, I would like the coat that you took my money for.
I am very disappointed with the communication from Ops Gear. They were difficult to reach by phone. If you do not get a hold of someone, they tell you to leave a message and someone will get back to you within 24 hours. That is unacceptable. I had to call several times to reach someone. The communication through Facebook messenger was deplorable. The reply acknowledging my request to be refunded my money took 4 days!
I will not be ordering anything else from Ops Gear EVER!
