"I heard this seller on a nationally syndicated radio show. The seller just happened to be in the right place at the right time and was able to plug their business. They sell canned tuna and one of my favorite things in the world: Dungeness crab. I immediately looked them up and purchased a 6 can order of the canned Dungeness Crab. I paid for my purchase via PayPal and sat back to wait for my order to be delivered.
A few days after I placed the order I hadn't heard anything from Ocean Harvest so I decided to write an email after logging in to my account with them and seeing that the status of the order was "in progress". Paypal, of course, showed that the order had been paid for and the funds were transferred. I inquired whether my order had been shipped in the email I wrote and requested that they please send me a tracking number so I could view the package's progress. (I live 70 miles from where I receive my mail etc so it's very convenient to know when I have a package I need to go pick up).
I didn't hear a word. I waited a week. Made sure to check my spam folder, etc. At this point I became concerned and decided to start a claim through PayPal (thank God I used PayPal for this transaction). The first step of the claim is emailing the seller through PayPal (which I did) and a couple days later I received a very quick answer just telling me that my package was to be delivered and if it wasn't to contact them.
Well... I emailed again... requesting to please receive a tracking number and explained my situation... no answer.
A few days later I was able to travel to my mailbox and picked up the order. I couldn't wait! Dungeness Crab I could use for salads, etc. The picture on their website showed an open can with nice chunks of meat, etc. It looked awesome.
And then... I opened a can. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I can upload pictures here or I would. The can I opened was about half full of crab and it wasn't nice chunks of leg meat... it was a mess of stringy meat that was tough and disgusting.
There is no sense in my contacting the seller... they don't answer emails (oh, and the phone number to contact them on PayPal was disconnected by the way)Instead... I will never purchase from them again and I am posting this review.
