"A month later and no merchandise. Call and told a backorder. Wait a week and no merchandise. Next call is BofA. Any way you cut it a 1.

"Beware of this outfit! I purchased an oscilloscope kit from them, and when I went to assemble the kit, I found that two probes, which should have come with the kit, were missing. When I called about the missing probes, I was at first told that they were not included in the kit and had to be ordered separately. I then pointed out that the probes ware listed in the components list for the kit and were shown in pictures of the kit on their web site. After some further discussion, they agreed to credit my card for the cost of the two probes. However, it required a second call and nearly two weeks before they actually did credit my card. I suspect that they are stripping the probes out of the kit and then selling them as separate items. In this connection, I note that some of the web links to the components list and to descriptions of the kit are now no longer working. Be aware that this company also does business under the name of Scope Metrics.
I also purchased a power supply from them. At the bottom of their invoice it states that "Power Supplies have a 30-day warranty," yet the information supplied with the power supply itself states that it is warrantied for 2 years. Looks like they are also stripping the warranties out of their products! By the way, good luck in finding out in advance of making a purchase what the terms of their sales are, as these are nowhere to be found on their web sites. However, I can see why they might not want the buyer to know these, as their invoice states that shortages/damages must be reported within 10 days from the date of the invoice, that kits are not returnable, and that there is a 25% restocking fee on all returns (30% on credit card returns). Do not do business with this company or with Scope Metrics if you can find the item you want elsewhere.
