" After placing order on 7/17/2006 I received e-mail to call to confirm which I did on 7/18/2006.The person who answered confirmed my order and all was well. Today after 10 days of no response from the company one click again I called and this time was told, there out of stock and cancelled the order. I asked tyhe company why I wasn't notified they said they were sending an e-mail, which was received 5 minutes later. A very unsatified first and last time customer."

originated as a private dispute between buyer and seller may become a
matter of broad public interest and thus warrant the Attorney General’s
intervention under the state’s consumer protection laws. Please be aware,

Questions/Comments:
I purchased a Sony 305 camcorder online. 7-14-06, form "ONE CLICK DIGITAL"
When the package arrived, items were missing, and the ones received were
not as stated. When I called the "company" they were rude and degrading.
The receipt has their address crossed off, and a different company name.
The only way I found it the address, was to put the phone # into Google.
***-***-****. At that point, I found out that this company has used
fraudulent practices in the past, and stolen personal ID's. I wanted to
return the item and they said it would cost me 25% of the $845.00. My
credit card company will not dispute the charges until I return the item.
Today, I went to use the extra battery pack they sent and it did not work
in the camera. I opened the manual and it states specifically NOT to use
that particular battery. HELP!!!!!!!! I don't know what to do or who to
turn to. I did try to contact the "company" again today without
satisfaction."
"My story,
There is NO optical viewer on this camera and I tried to find out how it works in direct sunlight. I checked some stores that carry the camera (Circuit City and Comp USA "SHAME ON THEM"), and I ask them to show me how the camera operates in daylight; outside of the store. It was strongly against the store policy. They suggested to me to visit Casio's website.
I had no luck in seeing how the camera works, but 10.1 Mega pixels and the size of the display sounds good to me. I started shopping for it by price and the store rating. I tried ordering from "One Click Digital". (STAY OUT OF THIS STORE) After several days when no camera showed up and I e-mailed them for an explanation, but I got no response, then I called them and those clowns said that they never had any camera like this and they canceled my order and hung up. The camera is stll listed on their website, in stock and ready to order for the best price. (GOOD LUCK) With another store "Star Gate Photo" I had the same bad experience. The store must write all the positive reviews for themselves. They don't even have the products in their store. I will never contact this two stores again!
"
"Unbelievably bad experience. Just as others described: order at low price online, then call and have them try to sell expensive add ons. When we refused, the order (for a Canon PowerShot A610 Digital Camera) was cancelled. We tried to call back to get confirmation of the cancellation and people just hung up on us (repeatedly).
We immediately called our credit card company to make sure we were safe. So far, so good, but I'd be more comfortable if this had never happened."
"This store and it's people are frauds. They just want to sell you extra stuff like batteries for 130 dollars. If you don't agree, they become very rude and do things like call you a "loser" Buyer Beware
I cancelled my order and I had to cancel my visa card. It's amazing that they are still in buisness. No wonder they have been under so many different names. "
"Lowpricedigital.com is a scam review site that only has 5-star reviews and they don't accept anything else (I tried). I ordered a digital camera from one of the quoted merchants OneClickDigital. First they sent me email that I have to confirm by phone. I did and they told me that the camera is in stock and that they are sending it shortly. Then they cancelled my order with an email and when I tried to call several times they would hang up the moment I mention the existing order. Finally I got someone on the phone to tell me to shut the **** up before he hanged up again."
"I bought a Canon EOS Digital Rebel from them at first it sounded like a great deal. Buy after getting the camera and the other items they sent I found out it was not a good deal. The battery they sell for $100.00 is a $10.00 battery. The charged is about $20.00 they said it has a retail value of $240.00. They sold me a 5 yr service Plan from Canon that covers everything for 5years even if I dropped it. When that sent me the warranty card it was from Mack camera and it covered very little. I checked with Mack Cameras they told me what to ask for, so they sent me that card it was only good for 2 years Mack Cameras don’t sell a 5 year warranty that covers everything, I also did not get a warranty card with the camera when I ask them about that they told me that they had sent in all my paper work for me to canon. But when I checked with canon they told me they do have you to send it in with that I suspect that I was sold an refer camera. WHAT EVERY YOU DO NOT BUY ANTHING FROM THIS STORE. I am trying to get my money back I hope I can. You can also file a complant with the state of NY "
"I had been in the retail business for seven years and I purchase online frequently. I ordered a digital camera and the next day I received a call from a young sounding boy. He was confirming my online order. He then tries to sell me batteries, extended warranty, carrying case and battery charger. I had agreed at first to buy the battery charger but when he keep trying to push everything else I finally said just cancel the order. He became irrate and said he was going to charge me a cancellation fee of $25.00. I said I would let my credit card company handle it. He called me a couple of curse words and I hung up. He then called me on my cell phone and cursed again. He set it up so that my cell phone would get an instant message every couple minutes. I called and cancelled my credit card and I had to turn off my cell phone til I could get a new number. I hope someone can put them out of bussiness. "
"I placed an order for a Canon S 500 Digital Camera. The salesman said they had them in stock. When I refused to add any of the overpriced accessories, the salesman told me they were backordered and would not complete my order. I told him that he had just told me they were in stock and he hung up on me. "
"Oneclickdigital.com is a ripoff! They advertise great deals in my case digital cameras then if you dont buy overpriced batteries and memory and other accessories they cancel your order. WAWADIGITAL.COM is another company that uses this tactic. Stay away!!!!! The web malls that support this trash are just as guilty here. These malls post the scammers lowball prices. EVERYPRICE.COM, USASHOPCART.COM, LOWPRICEDIGITAL are 3 culprits. There are more. ITS TIME TO HIT THESE MALLS IN THE WALLET. START CLICKING THEIR PAY PER CLICK ADS AND JACK UP THEIR AD BILLS. NEED TIPS? JUST EMAIL ME AT ****@****. And to all the Malls. IF YOU DONT LIKE THIS TACTIC THEN SUE ME!"
"Awful experience! I waited two weeks for the camera, but it never arrived. I called the customer service number and I was told the camera was on back order and wouldn't be in for another 3 weeks. The guy was foul mouthed and told me to quit bothering him... (mind you, this is my first call)...then he hung up on me. SO...I called back and told him that he had been exceptionally rude and ask him for his name....he told me to f*** off....then I ask to speak with his manager or the owner....he told me that HE WAS THE OWNER and to 'leave him the hell alone' and then hung up on me again! SO, calling back once again, wanting to cancel the order of course,....When he answered he immediately started ranting and when I interupted to tell him to please cancel my order he just said DONE and hung up. When I check the status of the order it still showed pending. Today I called back and got another individual and he said he was going to e-mail a tracking number....I explained that yesterday the camera was on back order for 3 weeks and the order was suppose to be cancelled. He said...Oh, I wasn't looking at the customer service notes, let see... yes ...it is CANCELLED! Still, on the internet my order is just pending (not cancelled)...I will be calling my bank to have them on the look out for any unauthorized charges. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS....I DON"T FEEL SAFE HAVING GIVEN THEM MY BANK CARD INFORMATION! BEWARE! "
"AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. COMPLETE SCAM ARTISTS. WILL BE CANCELLING MY CARDS AS A PRECAUTION.
exactly the same experience described in other posts here. 'bought' a camera on their online page, then had to 'confirm' on the phone. bullied to buy accessories, and when i said no thanks, hung up on. heard nothing a couple of days, read bad reviews online and feared the worst. phoned them to check status of the order... sure enough 'we recommend you cancel your order due to BS BS BS...' -they wouldn't even say this bit to me on the phone but shouted that they would be sending me a 'status' email immediately and HUNG UP AGAIN.
It makes me so flipping angry..........
They should be investigated immediately by the authorities. Failing that prank called til they go out of business. No but seriously, the company is BAD NEWS. STAY AWAY."
"Customer service made me feel like they didn't want to sell me anything. Also, the camera I ordered did not come with a battery or docking station, which were standard."
"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. Like most others, when my order remained pending an no email for 3 days I called. Semi-nice at first. When I politely refused his pushy sales pitch for accessories I didn't need, he told me he was cancelling my order, and cursed at me before hanging up on me. He could have just told me he was cancelling my order - why would a sales person curse at a customer? NEVER BUY FROM THEM!!! Also, how are they getting 4.5 star ratings at other sites when at resellerratings.com they are .4 (point 4) out of 10. I now question these other sites rating validity. "
"By far the worst online buying experience ever. I also dealt with "Sam", who is obnoxious and rude. I also got suckered into a low price for a camera and when I didn't get their overpriced warranty, batteries or memory card, he got short and hung up on me. Noone would ever return emails or let me know when it would be shipped. Today I reached Sam and he hung p on me twice. When I reached him the 3rd time, he said camera wasn't in stock anymore. I said "Good" cancel the order and he said "Done". He then cussed at me and hung up. I feel like flying to Brooklyn and whipping his butt!
Is there an online BBB we can report these guys to? I am concerned that they have my credit card number and I wouldn't be shocked if they commit identity fraud against us.
SLEAZEBAGS....I bought from B and H phot....$50 more but I have used them 5 other times and they are very honest. oneclick is evil....ZERO stars.
Here is a link to the NY Attorney General's office. Please take a few minutes and call them and let them know about these guys. I know I am going to.
