"Ordered and paid $720 for a Sigma lens on Feb 26, 2011. On March 1 was notified by a differnt Company (47th Steet Photo) that due to an "inventory count error" the order was canceled and money credited back to PayPal. I was not given a choice for putting the item on back order. Starting on March 1 and later I sent 3 different emails asking if they would honor the original price we had agreed on. They reponded to my first email "the order with Opteka has already been processed and refunded". Opteka never responded to the question I proposed. I noticed on March 8 they are selling the lens at a much higher price due to a price hike. Their mistake has cost me and their lack of response makes me wonder if it was a mistake? Why won't they honor the sale made in good faith on Feb. 26 before the price increase?"
