"I bought a pair of rimless glasses from Optical4Less. I had already gone to Lenscrafters for the exam, but did not like their selection of frames --particularly their rimless selection (which was all but non-existent).

So I searched everywhere for good frames and decided to try Optical4Less because of their very reasonable prices and lens customization options.

I was very impressed with both the construction of these glasses and the spot-on prescription.

I had bought prescription sunglasses at Lenscrafters when I got the exam, so I had the new prescription on those to compare to and they were identical. The glasses fit very well, are very light and look very nice. I was very happy with these glasses--especially for the price--as they were easily 75% cheaper than any boutique place would have been.

The shipping time on these from overseas was surprisingly quick. I ordered these on April 14, 2009 and received them in California on April 27, 2009.

In fact, my wife found some frames at Lenscrafters, and got hers there. Since they needed some special coating or something, they needed to be specially made and mailed to us. We actually received my glasses from Optical4less BEFORE the ones from Lenscrafters in CA!

I have no problem at all very highly recommending this company and will certainly shop there again."

"Just received the glasses, model p113. The frames are good quality, comparable to RayBan wayfarer(frames are slightly smaller height then RayBan), and the lens are great(perfect prescription). The only thing that doesn't look as sturdy is the hinges but we'll see how they last. Took about 24 days from ordering to receive them but I don't know where you can get this quality glasses for less. "

What I received for $40.00 was a cheap flimsy pair of plastic glasses, that could be bought at any Flea Market for less tha $2.00, and had NO anti-reflective / anti-glare effects whatsoever!
They have NO customer satisfaction, or Return policy whatsoever!
Steer clear unless you enjoy getting ripped off!

"This is the second time I ordered from them and they are great!!! Got both the regular and sunglasses in 10 days, great quality, no scratches, and workmanship and the prescription is perfect. With the sunglasses, I ordered the darkest tint with the light to dark effect but received the glasses with just about the lightest tint possible. Perhaps that is all they have with the 'light to dark' effect but they should mention that on the website. Otherwise, it's been great, just glad to get a great deal on quality glasses with the prescription done right!"

Sold me $300 of poor quality eyeglasses, asked me to ship them back, and have refused to refund my payment, return the product, or even answer my emails for over 6 months. Please avoid this "vendor" at all costs - they are not worth the potential savings - they've cost me months of aggravation. Learn from my mistake."

"Beware of Optical4less. They take forever to make my glasses and then they made them with the wrong axis which meant the wrong prescription. If they were a drugist they would be sued for malpractice. The frames were cheap plastic that were far too loose to even stay on my face. I also paid a premium price for extremely hard lenses and yet Optical4less tells me they broke in shipping them back. Then they told me I was not the original customer. This company took my money and I have now done a chargeback with my credit card company. I consider this mail fraud. If they were in the US I would ask the attorney general to intervene and prosecute. Buyer beware. You get what you pay for."
