SHIPPING is major ISSUE!

"Company marks the order shipped after 4 days but they don't actually turn the package over to Carrier. Either they don't have the item instock or they just don't give a damn to your order. After a week although it is marked shipped, I am still waiting for them to turn the item over to carirer. Canceling the order is even more of a challange. I can't help but wonder how it is possible that this kind of an unethical business survive, I would definetly would NEVER shop there ever."

Be careful

"Limited? I agree. Limited in the manner that they take care of the customer.
I had ordered a 500 round battle pack from Outdoor Limited and had paid in excess of $420. And, like many other shooters, stored the ammo until I needed it. In May or June of this year I took one box out to the range. I experinced a 14% failure rate in one box of ammo which I find unacceptable. I got in touch with Outdoor Limited who immediately redirected me to the manufacturer...which IS IN TURKEY!!! After going round with different people at O. L., I got in touch with the manufacturer. They responded to me saying they didn't have a distribution channel here in the US. When I went back to O. L., they told me they had done everything they could...which was nothing. Outdoor Limited left me holding the bag. Be careful when purchasing from this company. They will dodge. They will redirect. But they will not stand behind what they sell. Good luck... Be careful.

Will not post negative reviews

"I bought some 30-06 ammo marked MKE 63 from Outdoor Limited. This is old Turkish Military surplus ammo that may not have been stored correctly. I shot some through my M1 Garand and around the 40th round fired, the case ruptured and blew my rifle apart. In no way do I hold OL accountable for this. I did want to spread the info that this ammo may be dangerous, so posted a review on their site. It was blocked from posting. I tried multiple times to post this review on their site. Never posted. This is horrible, dangerous practice to not let people decide if they want this potentially deadly to the shooter ammo in their historical rifle. I will never do business with a company that purposely deceives their clientele. Hiding the truth is the same as lying. Outdoor Limited is a company of liars!"

It is a scam.

"They take your money, and never send the product…. They send you a false tracking number, and when you find out it was shipped somewhere 3 hour fliht from your home, they tell you they made a mistake with the tracking number they sent you and that the system will send it automatically… and you never receive it…. Then they change name and thay start all over again… a bunch of Chinese criminals…m"

Buyers Beware

"Before buying from this company, I read through a handful of reviews and the company, for the most part, seemed alright, but After my experience, I have read numerous reviews and saw a pattern that regarded the same issue that I had. The reviews went back as far as 2018, so this is not a new issue. On to the issue.... I purchased over $400 worth of ammo from this online store. According to reviews on their site, this is an Awesome company, no bad reviews whatsoever ( after finding many bad reviews and the comments made in them, it appears they delete/block bad ones from their site. Anyway, back to the issue. I placed my order, my credit card was billed the same day. The following day, I rec'd an email, informing me that my order had shipped and gave the delivery date. While waiting, I browsed their site over the next 2-3 days, noting that the same ammo that I purchased was still available, but at $1 more per round. I thought "I got my order in at a good time", but I was apparently mistaken. 3 days later, I get a "We're Sorry" email, stating that they had "oversold" my ammo and would not be able to fill my order. Funny how my order can not be filled, yet here we are, 5 days later and they are still selling the same ammo, same manufacturer and same box size, that was supposedly out of stock, but at a higher price. On a side note, they are having no problem sending me emails, advertising higher priced ammo. I fell for their scam once, it won't happen again. I'm still waiting for the refund, by the way....So, between them constantly cancelling orders, due to being "oversold", while still selling said product and by outright sending the wrong ammo and then denying returns....the moral of the story - Buyer Beware"

bogus company

"Beware ! Tried to call every other day for 2 weeks, left messages, and never heard back. They'll take your money and tell you they're backed up and it could take 10 days. I think they mean 10 weeks, but then they cancel your order. They string you along to try to get you to pay higher prices, the chase is on. In the same time I was waiting for them I got plenty of ammo from a company in Arizona,8 days from order to delivery,and a company from Ohio,10 days wait. I also got plenty from the stores in N.E. Tenn. You may only be able to get 5-10 boxes at a time in the stores,but they're actually cheaper and I've got it. better than having some thieves steal your money."

I just want my money back.

"I ordered ammo from them during the time California lifted the ban for online ammo sales. They shipped after the ban went back on, needless to say I never got my ammo, it was probably confiscated which will get us both in trouble. After realizing they charged my card $224.03 I contacted them and they won't do anything about it. They gave me a store credit. WOW, I'm in California what the heck am I supposed to buy from them. They don't really care, I asked them to send me a check and they said they can't send a check. I guess I will have to keep writing bad reviews on all the websites till I get my money back. When the ban is lifted again I will not be buying from them. The place I used to order my ammo from managed to get some shotgun shells through before cancelling my $2,300+ order when the ban was put back into place. The only reason I went to this website is that they had the caliber I was looking for. I just want my money back, they messed up and should have never sent them out and they never sent a shipping notice so I figured it was cancelled. They are holding my money hostage."

Pay the extra 5% in store

"Bought items from them because they were a few bucks cheaper than in store. Received package after 2 week completely wrong ammo. They then took over 2 weeks to respond to incorrect order email. They than said I had to take package to UPS drop off point which isnt one exactly close to me. Now after dropping it off 10 days ago have still yet to see refund say and they just respond basically that someone else is working on it. DO NOT USE OUTDOORLIMITED!"

This is NOT a Better Business Bureau accredited business - AND IT SHOWS

"Note that this is NOT a Better Business Bureau accredited business. There’s good reason for that.

If they send you the wrong product, do not expect to hear back from them for several weeks. This seems to happen a lot. You’ll be left wondering if a refund is even possible, because their website clearly states they don’t accept returns on ammo. So now you have to purchase the ammo somewhere else. Save yourself the hassle and just buy it somewhere else to begin with.

Not delivering the items someone pays for is a form of fraud. If they make a mistake and don’t fix it in a reasonable amount of time - they still owe you a refund - whether or not you keep the wrong product they sent the first time. If they won’t honor it - your credit card company will refund it as a chargeback. You do not have to pay for their mistakes. It’s the seller’s responsibility to maintain accuracy, and they are the ones who must accept the loss when they fail to do so.

Please be cautious in dealing with these company. They scammed me out of $300 worth of ammo. Placed two large orders and was missing 1 item. No customer support!! Don’t respond to emails and phone messages. They take your money and are unreachable. Took over a month to receive uncompleted orer.

"This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had shopping online. Directly after placing an order I tried to call to make a simple change, no answer. It’s now been 1 week, I’ve called, emailed, and commented on website every day now for a week with 0 answer or response. And now my order is shipped(also took forever) incorrectly. And I have to wait to receive it, and then send it back, and hopefully get contact with someone by that point. Honestly I’m not even sure this place is real, or the reviews are real. The message on the phone doesn’t sound real or professional. I’d give this experience 0 stars if possible DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE "

Poor customer service

"There mobile experience is lacking to say the least. When I followed a "back in stock" link in an email, I was taken to that site on my phone and could see less than half the description. It ended up a different ammo was added to my cart and I placed the order. When I got the order, I realized it was the wrong item so I attempted to contact them. I would recommend not even trying to call them since it constantly goes to voicemails and calls are not returned. When I was finally able to talk with someone I was told that David would make "a one time exception" but I would have to pay the 10% restocking and shipping back to them. I asked if I could discuss the issue with David and was told that "he is on the phone with a large account" so he was too busy to talk with me."
