"I visited the website on a Friday to order an SUP paddle that I was hoping to take on vacation in a week. When looking at how to determine how long it would take to receive an order, a chat screen popped up offering assistance if I needed it. I typed in what I was looking for. The representative went to determine if the paddle I was looking for was in stock. I told him my time frame of wanting it before I left, and he said that since I was in Portland and Outdoorplay is in Hood River, it shouldn't be a problem. I happily placed the order. I received the confirmation email, and then a second that said my already free shipping had been upgraded to priority mail free of charge. My new paddle arrived the next day!!! "I purchase a Tula Lifeguard hat and it was received with a bent brim. I called customer service and they told me to wet the brim and lay it out. The hat would be perfectly fine. I had a hard time believing it, but after a few calls to customer service I decided to try what they said and to my disbelief, the hat is perfect. I even ordered a second hat. "I bought a kayak, I was promised I would have it 7-10 days, which is the reason I bought it here. About 2 months later it arrives. Kayak has water in it, that won't drain out. I'll I've gotten are lies and the runaround. I would never buy from Outdoor Play again.

"I bought a jogging stroller from Outdoorplay and received stroller that was shipped to someone else before: box was opened, had multiple shipping labels from the previous buyer, stroller was partially opened and plastic removed. After I contacted customer service they said to send them pictures if there was smth wrong with the stroller. The fact that it was customer return and someone else unpacked it before was not an issue for them but is for me. I wish I ordered from more trustful seller. Ask if you are getting a brand new and manufacturer sealed item before buying from them! "
"Beware that this company does not handle exports so that it may go throught customs without additional cost as amazon and most online shop do. I bought 3 pairs of socks from Canada. Normally amazon would charge 5% GST and it goes through customs in no time and without additionnal cost. But with Outdoorplay I am charged 20% + 10$ for customs fees and the package took a long time to arrive. Overal : Shipping cost : 35$ + 40$ custom. Had to exchange one item : 25$ to send + you have to apy for the shipping again with them if you exchange, so I have to pay another 25$. Total shipping cost for socks to be exchanges: 125$
If I would have bought with amazon or another online shop, I would have had to pay for a reasonalbe shipping cost once, hence saving over 80$.

"I was looking for a Kuat Transfer 3 Hitch Rack and it was on back order at all the stores. I originally ordered it from REI in May and the delivery date kept getting pushed till they cancelled the order in July. They cancelled it because they said Kuat has not been able to send them the product. I decided to look for another vendor to order from and found outdoorplay.com on google. The customer service rep (Stacey) was really nice and helpful because I told her the situation. She said that they have been receiving and shipping these racks and had a few of them available coming on their next shipment due on July 29th. I trusted her and placed the order immediately which was on July 21st. I got a shipping notification on July 28th and the product arrived 5 days later. I am really happy that I found this vendor and would not hesitate to order from them again."

I got teh product on time and exceptional customer service took care of bruises due to poor packaging by Manufacturer and subsequent handling of merchandise.

"Purchased a medium-sized kayak helmet from outdoorplay. Received the helmet and found it was too small. Called Kody with their customer service and he said, No problem just send it back and we'll swap it for a larger size. I asked if I should purchase the larger size outright and be credited when they received the return. I was told there was no need they just got a large shipment and there would be one for the exchange. Well Kody wrote me an email said they got the return but no more helmets for the return... Very bad Customer Service. Will not order form them again"
