"I placed an order with PartNow using their web site. The next day I received a copy of the order invoice and noticed that the quantity for one item was greater than the quantity I ordered (my order confirmation proves this). It took several emails for them to admit that they made a typing error and shipped the wrong quantity. I had to return the overage for credit. Since when do orders placed on-lined need to be retyped? Their explanation lacks credibility.
I subsequently found that I didn't need all of the parts that I ordered. Under the PartsNow policy I arranged to return them for full credit. After they got the extra parts back I noticed that the credit was for a lower amount than what I originally paid for the parts. This wasn't a restocking fee. When I called them out on this they issued a credit for the full amount. No explanation, no apology.
Something tells me that PN makes these "errors" hoping that customers won't notice so their bottom line is improved. Didn't work with me. Don't let it happen to you."
