"Quality product. Very accomodating to customization requests.
Previously, I had purchased 3 Dell computers in a row for the convenience and reliability aspect. Consequently, I was a bit nervous about going with a smaller outfit.
I was definitely rewarded. This computer screams (in a good way) and hasn't had a single hiccup in over 6 months of continuous use. My only reboots are for service packs and security fixes courtesy of Microsoft."
"These guys are top notch. I emailed them several times with questions, got answers right away - from a person too!
Called and chatted with them about them being able to spread the charge for the system out over 2 days due to a limit on my debit card, which they did nicely.
The system is just outstanding as well, top of the line components with absolutly no problems whe it arrived. I believe that the parts are as good as the ones that the "alien place" uses at a much cheaper price.
I was impressed also that they loaded open office for free on the system and added some other goodies as well.
They did have to drop ship my speakers direct from their supplier and they were delayed a week, not PCFX's fault and certainly no big deal.
I have been a loyal Dell customer prior to this experience - well I am here to tell you PCFX has changed that. Next time I need a PC I'll be giving PCFX a call again.

"Price: PCFX worked with me through email, helping me put together a system
that fit my needs, and the price was great. ;)
Shipping: Shipping came out to be what I expected. They didn't overcharge
like some places...
Speed: There was a slight delay in delivering the system because the
motherboard I ordered with the PC system couldn't be found from any supplier
anywhere (not PCFX's problem; everybody else was suffering the same) so they
worked with me to get something equivalent. Other than that, it shipped out
as soon as I told them what I wanted instead.
Quality: All of the parts inside the systems were high end, inspecting the
inside of the case myself I didn't see anything bad and cheap put in to cut
corners. The cabling was done very nice, so nice in fact that after having
messing around with the inside to attach a temporary extra hard drive I
couldn't get it back to being so neatly packed. I suppose I could have taken
it apart completely, and then redone it myself, but I'm lazy. Typical
engineer. :) Anyway, the BIOS, OS, hardware settings, and custom installed
business software was set up perfectly and I didn't run into any problems or
compatibility issues. Except for the mandatory disabling of that XP "Luna"
trash... I hate that GUI. :)
Warranty and Service: No problems so far; the only thing I've done is
install a new video card, a Radeon 8500. I recently needed to get a copy of
the receipt for taxes and they sent it by email to me the next day."
"It's a pleasure for me to recommend PCFX. I am absolutely thrilled with the performance, value, and reliability of my Leviathan.
I work in a profession that doesn't leave me with alot of spare time. But I knew I wanted the kind of super high-performance computer that you can only get by hand-building a machine piece by piece, choosing only the best components. I wanted a machine that looked as good as it performed. I wanted a machine that had already been honed to razor sharpness by someone who knew what he was doing. Building something like that by myself was out of the question. I simply didn't have the know-how. And I didn't want to spend the 30, 40, 50 or however many hours it would have taken to educate myself enough to build one with the same sophistication. And let's face it, you're not going to get the Ferrari of computers thru Dell or Gateway. My last Dell was a wheezy old thing. Think of PCFX as a more-affordable Alienware, but with better components.
Chris will work with your during selection, and if you're like me, educate you about the latest hardware on the market. I found him able to discuss a wide variety of hardware and software options. He can help guide your decisions, or he can build to your specs. He built mine in 4-5 days and kept me informed via e-mail about each step during the process.
The Leviathan's Lian-Li case is much more beautiful in person than in the photographs. The pictures make it look almost white. It's really a very cool brushed aluminum, which is physically light and dissipates heat well. Originally I was thinking about a black case, but now find the aluminum much more sophisticated. The case also has a HUGE window that shows off the sexy hardware and neat cabling. Mine has a blue cold cathode lighting that is BRIGHT and a custom mirror on the bottom to show off the underside of the videocards. The front bezel has a lighted baybus fan controller. Thankfully, even with the fans at on full speed, it's still quiet enough for me to listen to music at low volumes without hearing any computer noise. My computer also came with a personal binder with individual specs and software inside.
Does it run fast? Does a bear crap in the woods??? =D
Max Paine played flawlessly. Ditto for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. Even on Omaha. It's smooth as glass. I almost peed myself on Omaha. It was that incredible!
PCFX offers high performance hand-built machines. If you're in the market for this type of machine, you should definitely check them out."
