"When I ordered a fridge and there was 66 bucks displayed for shipping, I was pretty happy and closed the deal, paid with my VISA and waited. Next day they emailed me to confirm shipping address and a phone number. Then another day or 2 later they sent me an email that shipping would be 236 instead of 66. 170 bucks more, after the order was already confirmed. And no chance to make them responsible for that because there is a big flaw in the Canadian customer rights i didn't know about: what ever they write in their terms and conditions is binding for the deal, also when it is clearly drifting away from any law and common sense. They say they can change the price when ever they want, can cancel the order whenever they want, can change the amount of ordered items anyways. And this also after they have already confirmed the order and cashed the payment (we have much more customer protection in the Europen Union). Okay my fault, not to expect someone to make their own laws like that, but also a very bad and unfriendly behaviour for a big company like that."
