Sent Inferior Product and then has to pay shipping cost to return the unusable product

" I ordered two sets (12 in each pack) of silver ribbon bows, that I thought were already constructed. They were just 12 flat ribbon parts that apparently has to be completely constructed, that was why I purchased them was to have the already made ribbons bows.

The ribbon looked so cheap, not something I would use at an event I am putting on in Las Vegas. So I went to return it, as it was not even anything I thought I was actually purchasing. I printed out what I thought was a return label to return to UPS and to shipping cost was 13.30 to return the items I bought from this company. I won't be buying anything else from a company that makes the customer pay for shipping on returns when they send out inferior products as what I felt that I received in this order.

"Beware, their technology is NOT foolproof. At any time they will swap your billing and shipping addresses leading to unnecessary delays and stress. Not one apology but instead, they blame you as the customer for their fault. Insane! "

Organza Bags - Appalling quality! No response to emails!

"I originally ordered bags from Paper Mart in 2006. Since I am in Australia, and Paper Mart doesnt send internationally, I sent the bags to a contact in WA to forward to me. Since we were going to be in WA in August, 2018 it was a prime opportunity to purchase a larger order of bags from Paper Mart and bring them back with me at that time.In November 2018, I contacted Paper Mart about my order. As stated at that time, I had not had the opportunity of going through the bags earlier (they were ordered in July) due to some personal issues and only had enough time to count the bags to make sure all was correct. During this, I found some of the Rose coloured bags that were so absolutely terrible, I contacted Paper Mart about those and some missing bags. They refunded me the $5 or so for those bags.

Unfortunately, I had been unable to go through the bags fully and repackage them for resale, due to my partner’s ongoing medical issues. I sell the bags in packs of 4, primarily as bags that people can craft with, so they need to be of good quality. I went through all the bags, and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. So I contacted Paper Mart TWICE saying essentially what is in this review (including photos of the issues) with no response! no customer service, no trying to make things right. In 2006 the bags were PERFECT. The cutting, stitching and quality was PERFECT. The seams were PERFECT! They were crisp, rightly sized and perfectly shaped. I could just take the bags from them and repackage and away they go. I had absolutely NO losses. The only bags that I could do that with now are the Hearts and Swirls (only losing 3 due to some dark pink being in the wrong spot) and the Daisy ones (only losing 2 due to dark pink ink on the daisy petals). I put the bags aside that were questionable which was very near all of them, revisiting them 2 more times to make sure I wasn’t being picky…I WASN’T. I spent over 3 hours cutting threads off them, over 2 hours ironing some of them to see if I could match up the seams properly with limited results. It’s just a shame I can’t attach photos on this review as you would be as appalled as I am. The following are some of the problems:
1. Dirt and marks on the bags
2. Seams coming apart
3. Stitching coming apart
4. Not even rectangle
5. Sizing different (some up to ¼ inch which on this size bag is noticeable
6. Stitching not straight
7. Corners square on one side and rounded on the other
8. Flimsy organza (a huge variation on the quality in the same pack)
9. Twisted ribbon so bad I cant fix

I do understand that Paper Mart are unable to check every one (and going on what I received they haven’t checked any) however I have to, as I package in smaller quantities, and just starting to increase my sales makes it even more important. The quality was so good back then that ordered again, thinking that was normal. Now I know it wasn’t. If I had received these back in 2006, I would not have ordered from Paper Mart again. I paid AUD$309.91 for these bags (1560 of them). When I went through them there are 328 bags that I definitely couldn’t use which in itself if over 21% failure rate. In addition there are further Rose bags I can’t use, the Ivory, Light Pink, Silver and Toffee are almost write offs (which is 540 bags), and the rest are questionable except the Lime which appears to be the only really successful colour. So all in all I have about 360 bags out of 1560 that I could actually feel good about onselling. Honestly knowing what I feel receiving them, I can imagine what my customers would feel like receiving them. As it had been over 30 days when I checked them, and due to being in Australia it would be not very cost effective to return them anyway.
It may be an issue with their supplier, but it's ultimately Paper Mart's responsibility to stand behind what they are selling. I have essentially handed over a lot of money and nothing much to show for it. It has bought my sales of this product to a standstill and impacted my ability to bring in extra money for my family. Thanks for that!

Shipping way too high

"I really wish they would simply raise their prices instead of allowing customers to get to checkout and see a $30 or $40 shipping fee for some paper products. That is just insane. I have purchased from them before. But this go round I decided to find another alternative....completely based on their shipping prices. "

Candy boxes

"I wish I read the reviews before I made an order..... I got my package today and I am very disappointed, frustrated and sad.
The boxes are not easy to assemble like they advertise and they break before you finish doing it because they are low quality. I contacted them to find out I have to pay if I wanted to return the boxes and all of them need to be like new. I am going to keep them, because some of them don't look like new any more and I also decided to take the time to write a review, so you know.
Bad experience for me because now I have to spend time and money getting new candy boxes for Christmas, if you need candy boxes and you want to be happy look for a different company.

First and Last Experience with Paper Mart

"We are a small business recent startup, and our success hinges largely upon the distribution of a sampling of our products in a giveaway gift set for Christmas. Paper Mart seemed perfect to supply us with the items needed for the packaging, so off we went with a huge order. Six days later we had a FedEx "delivery today" notice, but nothing arrived. Long chats with FedEx led to one with Paper Mart, and we were stunned to learn that a mailing label had been created but no actual delivery was anywhere in sight. Paper Mart was supposedly doing a "drop shipment" from God knows where, and they were clueless regarding when or if that would happen. These guys should be avoided like the plague. I have no clue what the Invoice Number is."

Quality has gone downhill

"I've purchased zip baggies and shipping supplies many times from Papermart, but the quality has gone downhill. The last few orders, I end up with bag after bag that doesn't close - grips don't line up, and lots of busted bags (seams aren't sealed properly). I've bought 10's of thousands of bags, and instead of running into a handful in every hundred, some packs are running 50% defective. I'll be looking for a new supplier."

The best of the best!

"I often use items from Paper Mart in my crafting. I recently had some questions about shrink wrap and chatted with Jenna about particulars - sizing of the materials, etc. for the particular project. Jenna double checked measurements, etc. and was extremely patient and helpful! Not only does Paper Mart carry a wide variety of items for great prices, but their staff is FABULOUS (particularly Jenna)!"

"I ordered 24" mailing tubes that, per Paper Marts website, will measure 24" plus an extra 1" for caps. They came in anywhere from 1/4" to 1/2" short (100 of them) and when I called to exchange, I needed to send a picture to prove it then wait 48 hours for a call back. Next, I was informed by Shelly Fine at P.M. CS that the tubes were within some self-imposed & obscure standard deviation and if I wanted longer ones, I should order the next size up. They refused to return or exchange an item that was clearly not as advertised. Gee...thanks a lot Paper Mart! Frankly, we always have used Paper Mart as a secondary vendor but now we are closing our account. We will buy everything from ULINE @ 1-***-***-**** who have been great to us for 13 years. "

"I placed an order for my wedding a few weeks ago and both products had issued. One was the wrong product and the other was damaged. I emailed them and they wrote back to me once saying I need to provide them with the product #, which I did. Haven't heard from them since. I've emailed, used contact form and tried the live help at least 10 times and nothing. I just wanted the correct and undamaged items. They have the WORSE customer service I've ever dealt with. Never ordering from again, and I suggest others don't either if they actually want the items they ordered and a company that is easy to deal with."

"Grace and peace"! :-) . I just ordered 100#- Golden Emboss Linen Treasure Boxes from Paper art.com. And I must say I was very scared and surprise to read online that they are ill responsible when it comes to business ethic's. Now I ordered them for my daughters wedding. And she does not, as well as myself deserve added stress to there mistakes. I'm a business admin major, let alone a business person. And I don't hire people who can't seem to read, or pay attention to invoices. So I hope and pray they bet my order right exact"! Because I have no problem taking bread out of whoever runs this cooperation"? Company"? Or warehouse"? Mouth. And not only will I do that"? "I placed an order at paper mart for 50 plain white boxes on January 16,2015. On January 24,2015 . I received 50 plain gold boxes . I understand that mistakes occur, however the customer services in resolving this mistake was poor . I resolved to return the wrong boxes and purchase the correct boxes locally.
