"Please be advised that Paramount Computers is now operating under the name Cyberspace Cafe/CSC Computers, 9873 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, FL with the same cast of questionable characters (Kymi Samuels, Dory Espino, and Robert), and up to the same unscrupulous tricks which have earned them their well deserved reputation.
The $2000 computer I purchased from these brigands in Feb. 2005 has yet to run properly and the machine has spent the last 4 months in their shop, having been returned for at least 6 seperate hardware failures/defects. The staff is arrogant, hostile, and dishonest.
AVOID doing business with these folks as you would avoid STDs!

"I purchased a computer from Paramount 2000 and I got it home and hooked it up and pressed the power and nothing. I called and they send another computer, this one worked. I started having trouble a week after I hooked up the internet to it and 2 weeks ago I had to send it to them for repair because the modem went on it and I was told it would only be a couple of days if indeed that was the problem. I called them a day after they got the computer and said they hadn't got to it because they had so many computers with viruses. I asked them when they would get to it. I was told Thursday, four days after I sent it to them. I called them Friday and they said they had installed the modem and told me if they had no problems they would send it out later on that day. I told them if there was any problems with it to call me that day or I would asume that it was on it's way. Well, I received a call late Monday afternoon from the Tech was working on it, he said to call him. Since I was at work I was unable to call til Tuesday morning, where he told me I also had a virus and that it would cost me $129.00 dollars to upload the programs again. I've already spend almost $70.00 to send it to them because it was under warranty. I finally decided to get it done and I asked how long it would take. He said it would be done that afternoon and sent out Thursday and I would probably receive it Friday. I called Thursday and they told me it would not go out until Monday since they had a show to go to. I told them the technician had told me it would be out today and I was very upset and they said they would send it out that day. I waited all day Friday and still have not received my computer. I am very, very disappointed with them. I am thinking that I may not get my computer at all. They seem to give me every excuse to send back my computer in a timely manner and they're more interested in customer sales than customer satisfaction."

"As with the earlier customer my credit card was billed twice week apart for the same computer. Still trying to resolve with my credit company."

"I purchased a computer from Paramount 2000, Inc at the Florida Fairgrounds, in West Palm Beach, during a computer show in January 2003.
My credit card was billed twice, for the same month and different billing periods, for the same computer. The credit card company is handling the correction. I find it very disturbing for a supposedly legitimate company to try to defraud a customer. I will be writing to the BBB and to the fairgrounds show organizers about this matter.
