"My recent experience with this online auto parts reseller was highly frustrating and disappointing. Despite initially seeming like a reliable source for automotive parts, the reality of their service fell far short of expectations.
The main issue I encountered was the misleading information about the availability of parts on their website. I specifically purchased brake rotors and pads, trusting that the website accurately displayed their stock. However, after making the payment, I was informed the day after that the rotors were on back order. Shockingly, even after being notified of the unavailability, their website continued to claim that the parts were in stock.
To compound the problem, the reseller offered no viable alternatives or refunds for the missing parts. They simply shipped the available items, which were useless without the complete order. Despite my immediate email communication expressing my desire to cancel the order, they ignored my request and proceeded with the shipment 5 hours after I've send my email, seemingly prioritizing their own business interests over customer satisfaction.
When I contacted their live support in an attempt to rectify the situation, I encountered further frustration. The agent was unhelpful and responded at a sluggish pace, with each response taking around 8 minutes. Even when I requested an immediate creation of the return merchandise authorization (RMA) and return label to save time upon receiving the shipment, the agent claimed it was impossible and insisted that I contact them again for the return process.
Furthermore, their estimated back order time frame was misleading. They initially stated it would take 2 to 5 weeks to ship the missing parts, but to my surprise, the parts was available a mere 3 days later. This inconsistency in their communication only added to the overall dissatisfaction of the experience.
In summary, this online auto parts reseller's misleading stock information, lack of alternative solutions, poor email communication, and imprecise back order estimations left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I would caution others to approach this reseller with skepticism and explore alternative options for their automotive part needs."
