No answer on over 20 phone calls, no return call.

"Ordered a part Mid-day EST Friday, 2-day express shipping. Received order confirmation, and purchase verification, but no tracking number. Checked the order status over the weekend and it showed "processing". By Tuesday, it showed "Shipped", but still no tracking number. Started calling at 9:00AM PST, called over 20 times through the day, left multiple voice mails, received absolutely no response, and no one answered the calls. Still have no idea where the package is, or when it will arrive. "

FRAUD ALERT!!!

"I recently had a regrettable experience with Partshere.com after purchasing a lithium-ion battery for my HP250 printer. Upon receiving the item, it was immediately apparent that it was not functioning. Further investigation revealed that the battery was nearly 5 years old, as indicated by the barcode information, which was a disappointing discovery.

Attempting to resolve this issue proved to be an exercise in frustration. Despite numerous calls to their customer service, I was met with the same recorded message each time, informing me that they were "experiencing higher than usual call volume." This was irrespective of when I called, suggesting a lack of genuine customer support.

In addition to the phone calls, I submitted a request form via their website, hopeful for any form of acknowledgment or assistance. Unfortunately, my attempt to reach out went unanswered, leaving me with no recourse and a defective product.

My experience prompted me to look into the company's reputation further, where I found overwhelming evidence of dissatisfaction among other customers. With a strikingly low one-star rating based on 123 reviews, it's clear that my experience is not an isolated incident but rather indicative of a broader pattern of poor business practices.

From the outdated and non-functional product to the abysmal customer service, it's evident that Partshere.com operates with a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and ethical business conduct. The lack of response to customer complaints and inquiries further cements their reputation as a company that should be approached with extreme caution, if not outright avoided.

In conclusion, based on my personal experience and the corroborated experiences of numerous others, I cannot recommend Partshere.com to anyone. They have proven themselves to be a company that lacks integrity, reliability, and basic customer service. Prospective customers would be well-advised to seek their electronic components from more reputable and responsive suppliers.

They promise and don't deliver

"I was searching for a Lexmark MC3426i printer. Looked around, and they are hard to find now. The Partshere website showed that they had one... and I ordered it. Two days later, I get a notice that they have cancelled my order due to a "system update". Not sure of exactly what that means, although it appears that they never had what they promised to sell me. Not sure I would trust them....."

Waste of Time and Money

"We ordered a part for our HP scanner/printer. Partshere.com sent us the wrong part. We contacted Partshere about the mistake and was told to take pictures of the part they sent and email them the photos. We did that and were told to send back the part which we did, packaging it back up and traipsing down to Staples to send it out via UPS. After several weeks, and some phone calls, the part price was refunded to our credit card but not the $12 shipping fee. They sent us the wrong part, cost us time and effort, and then kept the shipping fee. NOT HAPPY with Partshere.com at all. "

They do not deserve a single star.

"BUYER BEWARE.....This company is a scam. They will ship you defective or used parts and if it is not usable, the will expect you to pay for RETURN shipping to correct the problem. Most people will not pay the return shipping so they are stuck with the bad part. They win, the customer looses. If the customer pays the return shipping, and wants a refund (of part cost only), then they win, they get their bad part back to ship to another unsuspecting customer, and the customer looses because now they have paid the original shipping and the return shipping.
I have filed a complaint with BBB along with several others. I have also filed a PayPal complaint. I would encourage other to do the same thing to try and get this scam business put out of business.

Customers end up paying for PartsHere's mistakes

"Ordered paper feed assembly for HP C8180 printer due to a broken gear. I had to wait 5 weeks before they received the ordered part and shipped it to me. This was supposedly a refurbished assembly, but it had the same broken gear with a missing tooth that my printer had. Refurbished meant that they put some glue on the gear but did not replace or repair the gear. The glue managed to hold the gear in place and also to immobilize the shaft so that nothing worked. Having sent me a defective assembly costing $37.05 with a shipping charge of $12.11 and a return shipping charge of $11.34, they do not refund any shipping charges. So it cost me $23.45 to get a refund of $37.05 for defective merchandise from this vendor. After returning the defective assembly, I only received my refund after I inquired with their sales representative about the refund. They also indicated that another assembly would take about 3 to 4 more weeks. And I still had no assurance that they could actually deliver a paper feed assembly that would not have a broken gear. This is not a company I would ever do business with again. All of my expenses were the result of their mistakes and the slipshod incompetent "refurbishing" of the paper feed assembly. Never before have I had to deal with a company that forced their customers to pay for the company's mistakes. "

"This company sent me an item that was defective. I have been waiting forever for them to send me another part. Furthermore this company do not answer their emails or customer support phone number. Worst internet company I have ever done business with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Charged for Useless Work, Problem Never Fixed

"Sent printer in with a work order that stated printer would not work and it was likely due to a lighting strike. It would print but could not be recognized by any computer. They gave me a quote for legitimate items but the items did not repair the printer, just a basic refurbish and look-over. I though they know what they were doing and that the quote included making it work again. After $251 charge and $160 shipping I have my stand alone copier back in possession. Three emails went unanswered and was finally sent an email stating I received it. Yes, I did receive it, but not working anymore than it was. Stay far away from the cons. Basement techies with no business or customer service skills. JD"

Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!

"It's been three weeks, and I still have not recieved anything from this company. I tried calling and emailing with no response. Finally 2/26/18 I got ahold of someone in the sales department. After being placed on hold for almost 10 minutes, the lady comes back with "the item was defective, would you like to wait a couple more days for another one?" Ummm, no, please refund me my money, and I will take my business elsewhere. Still waiting on the email for it being canceled. "

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

"I needed a part for my HP printer and PartsHere seemed to be the only place to get it. Their website was good and each part was explained in detail (which is why they at least get 1 star). I unfortunately made an error and ordered the incorrect part. I called to speak with a representative and was first connected with some sort of awards program. After letting the individual know I was not interested and wanted to speak with someone who could help me with my questions, she transferred to "the department that I needed." The transfer took me to a message that the number was invalid and hung up. I returned the incorrect item along with a request to refund my credit card after deducting the restocking fee. I then ordeedr the correct part and received an email thanking me for my purchase, etc. One week later I received a status update. The following was copied right from the email:
Your order has been recently updated.
Order Status: Cancel
Notes: Our apologies, your order has been canceled - due to system update; changes that will or have affected your order i.e part number, description, pricing, or status. Please re-order with us shortly.
Really? Good customer service should be a company's number 1 priority. I don't feel this company shares that opinion.

SENT WRONG PART & NEVER ISSUED REFUND FOR RETURNED PART

"Purchased a part in July & they charged my credit card same month. Did not receive part until late Aug & it was wrong part. Returned the part in Sept & still have not received refund. Have called many times & they don't answer or call back. Tried the Contact Us on their website & got a failure to send message. Bad company practices!"

All-around good website ordering experience

"I needed a replacement for a missing panel on a used HP 3500 LaserJet printer. Their parts number matched the HP part number (on which I did a Google search) and then checked price and shipping at all websites that had the part in stock. Their cost (sum of part and shipping) was lower than others and checkout was flawless. Invoice was sent to my email address promptly and tracking the shipment was easy. Part arrived today and fit perfectly. Hassle-free purchase from point of order to delivery. Part was bubble wrapped and packed well."
