“Thank you for your feedback. Our message is to remind people that parts can look alike but do not fit all heaters. If you ordered in error, sending you the wrong replacement part will not help you get your heater working. Furthermore, the fusible link that you ordered is a safety burner FLAME roll out switch. This prevents your house from the fire hazard of flames shooting outside of your heater and possibly catching laundry on fire. If you indeed have fire shooting outside of your heater, you may have a clogged heat exchanger or your chimney is restricted. Replacing this switch without addressing the cause could put your home in danger of fire or Carbon monoxide poisoning. At the very least, your new switch will burn out as soon as the heater comes on, it won't be because of defects in the switch. That said, I've sent your order to the shipping department and it will ship today. Please contact us if you do not want us to proceed?”
