UPDATE ON THE ABOVE!
Despite having called then in advance to advise that due to a situation outwith my control (BACS transfer at work had failed and we were paid by cheque for this month only)that I could not make payment until the day AFTER it was due as the cheque would not clear till then. I was emailed back and basically told .. tough! The day my payment was due I received no fewer that 4 phone calls from their collections team (one of them at work!). I fully explained the situation to the first caller and advised that the payment would definitely be made the following day.... but still received further calls!! In the end I advised them I was going to consult a solicitor (whom I work for about harassment!). How many times in one day can I advise that the funds are not available till the next day.... and that nothing was going to change!!"
