"bought a bunch of $1.50 rounded ide cables. i had ordered some from SVC a week ago, and noticed that the quality on these are better than some $4-5 ones i had before. the ide are twisted pair and the connector end of the cable is still solid flat cable (isnt split into strands) so you have less chance of breaking off a wire.
i've converted all my cables into pctoys cables now (about 8 ata66 rounded cables, no problems).

"I will never shop at PCToys again. They have a 10" IDE, red UV sensitive cable that on their store has a candy red glow to it. I bought two and the cable didn't react to UV and was a dark burgundy black, and the plastic sleeves at the end were a cutesy pink. They either doctored the photos or something, but it adds up to false advertising. Why would I want to make another purchase based on this experience. If they provided false advertising once, they could do it again."

And once the fan did arrive it was broken in three places. Now the fan may have been broken by UPS, but it should have been packaged in a way to ensure that it arrived safely. It was packed in an envelope with some bubble pack. UPDATE: I WAS CONTACTED BY A REAL PERSON FROM PCTOYS (TIM - VERY HELPFUL FELLOW). HE APOLOGIZED FOR THE PROBLEM AND ARRANGED FOR A REPLACEMENT FAN AT NO COST. THEREFORE I'M RETRACTING MY NEGATIVE RESPONSE AND WHOLE HEARTEDLY RECOMMENDING THIS E-TAILER. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!"

On of the items, a cold cathode fluorescent light tube, was non-functional on arrival (no obvious external damage) which is a common occurance, I'm told. I replied to my order summary email (don't call them, email is responded to faster) with an explanation of my problem. They shipped out a replacement (no questions asked, no charge) that evening by UPS ground. Received it today, everything works fine. "I was participating in a decent sized secret santa group this year, & as usual, was running late. I looked up a particular item because it was under the spending limit & fit the receivers want list. Ordered a Dual Cold cathode kit (UV) and an IDE cable (UV Blue)
one of the cold cathodes would not light. I sent them an E-Mail within a couple days, Never got a response. Recieved a UPS package with a replacement Dual Cathode kit No charge, no shipping back etc..
I will definately be doing more shopping through them.
On a side note: The replacement I recieved had one blown tube (BUT I did wind up with 2 working inverters, and what I originally purchased).. "
