Two of the lights I bought for myself, because the first one impressed me so much I wanted to try a different model. The third one I bought as a gift for a friend.

I want to start out on a positive note, which is this companies reatest selling point. They make an incredible product. The quality of their pocket-sized LED flashlights is outstanding! I bought a Brass Matterhorn 3LED AAA powered flashlight and I was litterally blown away at the quality. The light is very bright, feels very solid and has good battery life. The second light I bought for myself was a Brass Pacific AA body. I was equally impressed with this light.

I paid in the $35 range for each light (the Pacific, which is larger and brighter was on sale). $35 might seem like a lot for a pocket flashlight, but among similar quality products, notably ARC Led lights, this price is actually pretty cheap. Also keep in mind, that this is a light, that is built to such high standards that it could last you 2 years or more, and you are talking a downright bargain.

Onto the negative. The main place to buy these lights, and the place with the best prices in Peak LED Solutions own website. Unfortunately is is hard to navigate and order your lights on. Also each flashlight is very customizeable, and the website currently doesn't offer the full range of available options.

I exchanged emails with a member of their staff a Robyn Seabert, who was very helpful with basic questions I had about flashlight options. The email I sent was returned very quickly, as was the follow-up email. I had some more technical questions regarding battery life and heat dissipation that I was told needed to be forward to someone referred to as a "technical guru" which were never answered however. I was told I would get a reply in 1-2 days and it never came. However I was pleased enough with my first purchasing experience to go ahead with my purchase.

When I got my purchase, I not only got my flashlights, but each flashlight was packaged with a CD that had .pdf versions of the companies full flashlight catalog as well as every available option for each of the companies products, as well as additional products not listed on the website. Once you know the available options, you can order the base flashlight using the website and put the options you want in the comments field and your requests will be fulfilled, but it is not the best way to handle special orders.

When my products arrived, they were well packaged, and shipping was fairly quick. 10 days for my first order, and 4 days for my second. Shipping prices were cheap for USPS Priority, even though the flashlights can be quite hefty, especially if you select the brass metal option.

All in all, aside from the hard to navigate website I am pleased with my ordering history with this company. If you choose to order a product from thiscompany, I recommend you go to the "Search Product" area, which gives you links to all products on one page.

I would recommend this companies products to anyone looking for a reliable pocket-sized LED flashlight. They are very solid and very bright. Its worth it to go through the poor website to get such a great product."
