"This is a high-end online retailer of women's shoes. Their prices are about average; they pay for shipping on orders over $250, but don't pay for returns. My problem was in trying out a pair of "maybe I'll buy it," $400 shoes at home on my wood floor. They were never worn outdoors; I didn't have them on my feet for more than a few minutes. Unfortunately, a few small dots indented the bottom of the sole; the shoes were otherwise like new. Live and learn.

They wouldn't accept the return. Wow. Just wow. So people are supposed to buy expensive shoes sight unseen, and with just a few marks on the bottom--no worse for wear than store-worn shoes that you pay full price for--and you're out of luck? No thank you. Never again will I buy from this store. "
