"I was disappointed in the particular trip to the store.The cashier was in a sweat shirt and acted like she was still half asleep. I purchased towels that had a buy 1 get 1 free sign posted above them. upon check out the price seemed high. Once I looked at my recpt I noticed the towels did not ring up buy one get one free as the sign indicated. When I pointed it out to the Cashier she walked away and spoke to a person I assume was a manger. The she told me the sale ended yesterday but that they would credit back the entire purchase and re ring it with the discount. I was unhappy with this arrangement as I was not using a charge card but a Debit card that has a security feature that only allows 500.00 in purchases in a 24 hour period. The credit & Re-ring would indicate 400.00 in purchases even though the credit would be included and my card would have been frozen by the end of the morning. The savings to me was 23.92 . Hey 20.00 is 20.00 but not work freezing my card over.The signage should have been remove Sat @ closing or Sunday AM prior to opening the store. There were also sheets and quilts signed @ buy one get one in the same area.I am not saying I would not have purchased the towels but at the least I would have had the ability to make an informed decision. I left the store upset and annoyed. Not what I call a positive shopping exp. when I spent 200.00 dollars."

"I think the prices are too high. I purchased pajama bottoms that cost $28.00 only because I had reward points. The same pjs are $8.00 in Family Dollar. They are for sleeping or lounging not a black-tie affair."
"The only problem I had was I thought sweaters were marked 50% off. When I checked my receipt it wasn't. I probably just read the sign wrong. I will probably return the ticket. Hopefully I still get my $25 savings. I notice they take off part of it from each item instead of the whole thing off at the end."

"The people that work at Peebles are very helpful. I have a disability and it's sometimes shopping in other stores because they don't offer to help but that's not the case in Peebles, they are always cheerful and willing to help me and all the customers in the store. They go out if their way to make a shopping experience enjoyable. I must also say this store in Appomattox VA is one of the cleanest and organized with all the products neatly displayed and priced. I would most definitely recommend this store to everyone."
