"I bought a large amount of clothes for my Granddaughter for Christmas. One outfit still had the security tag on it Christmas Day. The alarm didn't go off. The associate forgot part of my order and I had to ask for it. Then when returning the outfit to have the tag removed and get a larger size in one of the outfits, I was told I had the wrong receipt. It was my ONLY receipt. Then they couldn't find the outfit on the receipt and basically accused me of shoplifting. I said WHY would I bring in an outfit with a security tag with the proper receipt to be removed and a dress to exchange for a larger size, not get money? I wasn't out to scam anyone. The associate may have been busy and scanned the wrong outfit, but I couldn't got get all the outfits I bought and rectify the order, but the girl just sat there and looked at me, then the other one too. I felt like a thief. If I was cheating them, then why did I have a very long, very large receipt / purchase and only exchanging, not returning anything? I understand people rip you off, but obviously with my receipt and the outfits I wasn't trying to do that. I didn't appreciate their attitude, especially when the clerk kept insisting that I had the wrong receipt, when I clearly only bought teen outfits all on that one. I really felt like I was being accused of theft. Finally they exchanged the dress for the larger size, but not after souring me on the store and the clerks. Eventually they believed the associate either didn't scan the dress or scanned something else on the counter, but put the right dress in with the others. There still was a better way to handle it."
"The associates were busy and didn’t really want to help. Items were in the wrong places so they rang up wrong compared to what they were advertised as. Went in for 4 gifts and came out with only 1. Went to another store for the other 3. Usually happy with this store but not this time."
