"The cashier asked if I would like to open a credit card and get an extra 40% off my purchase; I said What the heck but when she asked for my Social Security Number I was upset. We are constantly told DO NOT give out your S.S.N. because of Identity Theft, and I told her no way. Why are Company's asking for our S.S.N. when we are told not to give it out. She asked for my driver's license and that should have been enough."
