"I purchased a Christmas gift for my husband online. I failed to get the right size. He loved it though. I phoned customer service to find out the best way to exchange for a larger size. They instructed me to go to the store and return and they would be able to order the item at that time for the same price (I was caller 22 when I placed that call). I went to Peebles in Madisonville, KY. They refunded my money back to my CC, then when they tried to reorder the correct size, they informed me that they could not order because it was an online item only. I therefore told them to recharge my card for the items and I left with them. I phoned customer service for the second time (I was caller 13 this time), and they were sorry for the inconvenience, but the stores are able to make an even exchange and they are not sure why this has happened. They then proceeded to reorder my items (one is now out of stock and unable to be ordered) at the same charge and I can either have a return label sent to me for the wrong sized items to be returned and credited to me, or I can return them to the store for a credit. I opted to return back to the store for my refund. I sure hope the next 3 out of 4 items I receive fit my husband. Think I might do something a little different next year for Christmas."
"Love the prices & the deals but the help is awful !! There ever seems to be but on or to clerks checking people !! That creates long lines !! I had to walk from one end of the store to the other to get checked out !! I waited over 10 minutes for a clerk to ring me up while she took for ever wrapping a gift & talking to that customer she even said maybe I could get checkout somewhere else !! I had just been told by the nearest checker that she was leaving & I didn't want to walk all over the store again looking for help !! If you didn't have good deals with coupons & sales I never go back in your store !1 Because what help you have could care less if they helped you !!"
