"Frankly, not a good experience. Store was CROWDED with racks of clearance items from the summer and nothing there was much appealing. Plus, coupons you receive in the mail contain so many exclusions that they are hardly worth using. I did not appreciate the fact that you had to download a coupon on your cell phone in order to get a percent off deal. VERY INCONVENIENCE. Had a coupon for $10 off a $10 purchase which was virtually useless because there were so many exclusions. Almost EVERYTHING I was interested in purchasing ended in 8 or was a Spot on Deal or ???? so that considering using the coupon was more a hassle than a savings. If this weren't the only clothing store in our small town, I wouldn't bother shopping here. Not pleased at all with the selections for children's clothes. Anything really worth purchasing is too pricey without a good coupon but then the coupons have so many exclusions they are almost worthless. Plus when the reductions are made you pay just about what you would have anyway in another store. Only real deals are a clearance item you might be lucky to find after trying on and looking through tons of clearance racks which crowd up the store."
"Horrible experience. Chose 6 baby outfits off the back wall clearly labeled as buy one get two free. When we reached the register the items did not come off. The cashier called over another associate and they talked about how they had been having similar issues all day. The second associate went back and verified they were on that section and wrong items were mixed in. Despite this the manager, Amy refused to assist us and instead sent two different associates back to that section to remove the misplaced signs and re-sort the merchandise. For them to admit the product was in the wrong location and their associates put signs in the wrong section, yet still refuse to even offer a discount is simply unacceptable in today’s retail market. There are plenty of other places for me to find Carter’s baby outfits and I will never again choose Peebles."

However I have noticed changes being made and not nessasarly for the better.The associates are not the same and not as freindly. I like this store,I like the variety it carries.The store appreance is somewhat dirty."
