"I absolutely love the Peebles in Smithfield, VA. I am constantly checking my emails and mailbox for the awesome deals and coupons. I went years without a Wardrobe. I honestly only had clothes that were 10-15 years old and I looked and felt horrible about myself. That all changed about year ago when I went in Peebles with my daughter. She begged me to try on some clothes. That was the day I knew I actually found a store that fit me. I have slowly been able to aquire some decent outfits that I feel comfortable in. Myself and My children are not embarrassed to go in public anymore.(lol) So, I am constantly awaiting on those killer deals and coupons to swing my way!"

"Peebles is my Go-To store to shop for my boys, husband, daughter and myself. It has always been very difficult for me to find outfits that fit, are comfortable and affordable. I started shopping at Peebles about a year ago and I have finally been able to acquire the wardrobe I have never had before. Although, I am thrifty and will wait for the coupons or a great deal to be sent my way. lol"

"I was most unhappy with the time I stood in line for checkout. There was only one person in line in front of me. However, the customer was so focused in maximizing her discounts/coupons that each item she bought was a separate transaction. She had at least 4-5 transactions, but could have been more. I am not sure why she could not have been rung up in one transaction and be done; I am ***ume it is because of Peebles policy not to combine more than one coupon/discounts within a single transaction? She seemed to have receipt printed coupons to take advantage of the items she purchased plus coupons from mailers. To cutdown on the checkout time, especially during a busy time like Christmas, Peebles should reconsider their policy on coupon usage; if the same customer is going to go ahead and have multiple transactions because only one coupon per transaction can be used, than Peebles should find a way to have the customer maximize her coupons within a single transactions. This could be done through programming or simplifying the coupons/discounts issued. It would cut down the time for the cashier to start the transaction as the customer has to enter their phone number each time - and the time to receive payment/payment authorization. I did come back a little later to purchase another item I wasn't sure I wanted, and again, the customer in front of me had more than one transaction....again it was to maximize discounts/coupons. Considering the amount of time to checkout,the person in front of me, I thought the cashier was patient and accommodating. And, i did not have an issue with her. So, please I do not want this review to reflect poorly on the cashier, but rather for Peebles to reflect on their policies on coupon/discount usage so that customers may be checked out efficiently at the time of checkout."
