"On Feb.5, I selected items and went to the register. I found the two pair of boots I selected rang up as $59.95 not the $35.95 on the signs by the boots. The clerk consulted with the person I believe was the manager. We went back to the boot display and sure enough the signs said $35.95. The manager scanned the boxes and said they were $59.95. She said it was "human error" and the boots were already marked down to $59.95. She then started walking away toward the front register and I told her in that case I did not want the boots. She said "fair enough". I told her she should probably remove the signs before someone else made the same mistake as me. She kept walking and said she had over 4,000 items to price and she was only one person. Although I sympathize with her plight of being over-worked, she was still rude."
